Molly - how long have you had your macbook?

I have had it now for nearly two years. It is so simple to use and brought it mainly as I suffer from dreadful head fog some days and struggled with my old computer. I have had wonderful technical support from A88le too, the most recent being the screen.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    Evening all

Jam all made and it looks lovely, think I might have to make some scones tomorrow to try it out :D.

Washing all dried on the line and a huge pile of ironing done. DS currently playing on the Wii and i was going to sell it as he never plays on it.

Melting moments are lovely, might make some of those tomorrow as well.

    Have a good night all

    Evening all

Absolutely braindead tonight! Today I had a selection day for my next group of work kids. It meant talking to and interviewing 20 young people, which is exhausting and took almost 3hours! And then I had the dilemma of who to pick as unusually almost all came over very well (!). I can have a max of 15, so 5 will be getting rejection letters tomorrow. 2 of them I had doubts about whether they could commit, but the other 3 I felt very bad about turning down :( but they are on the list for the next one in Sept.

I did manage to get out for an hour to have lunch with an ex-colleague, which was nice, but it was jam-packed with even more talking :rotfl:. I walked to work today which was nice as I've not been able to for ages cos I've worked in our sister office for so long, or needed car for work purposes. Hoping to walk tomorrow if weather holds.

Oooh forgot to say yesterday...I'm moving to the penthouse flat :j secured it yesterday :D will be moving in officially on aug 6th I think, but will be able to move stuff in during 2 weeks before as that's when my friend is moving in.

I'm so tired I CBA to cook any dinner, or order takeaway.

Have a good evening all, I'm off to crash on sofa

OH has gone off to work away until tomorrow week so thats a huge saving on the grocery budget.:rotfl:I have been reworking the monthly meal plans today. I have cut down on the amount of meat meals and substituted veggie ones instead so should be a saving there. I have also made up my mind not to use the WM unless there is a full load even if the lid of the dirty linen basket is 3' above where it should be. Had leftovers for dinner. Not actually going to admit what that was as it wasn't healthy. I will eat an apple later to compensate.
Mortgage and Debt free but need to increase savings pot.

OH is still out - though i think it's a night cap or 2 at the pub that is keeping him rather than work! Need to rethink this living so close to our local pub thing i think! Saved money in that didn't have to cook him tea - but he's probably spend 10xs that at the pub! he'll have to have that tomorrow.
