Yay finally managed to work out how to post a picture. Here are my babies about an hour after arriving home.

Today we have had some real progress. Me and my hubby just sat on the floor the opposite side of the room and Sadie (the one on the right) had great delight in playing with a feather type toy. She was brave enough to come out from under the sofa bed and get as far as having a sniff of my foot (yes it was clean). She then climbed all over the place behind the sofa bed having a good explore. Milo spent the whole time chilling under the sofa bed. He ate some Whiskars treats but we took the bowl of food to Sadie and she ate about half a pouches worth. We did the same with Milo but he wasn't bothered.

Sadie is proving very confident and playful whilst Milo just chills taking it all in!

Oh and yes they are exactly the same age (1 tomorrow) but Milo is much bigger than his sister Sadie.

Wow you are making super fast progress, sounds like all that thinking and preparing was worthwhile!! :D I love black cats, cannot understand why they are often passed over.

  • Oh, they're adorable (I may be a bit biased as I love all cats but nevertheless....).

    Fantastic progress for the 1st 24 hours:D

Me too! My boy's black and his coats all lovely, sleek and shiny and looks so much better than my tortie due to this.

I swear you and I were twins in a past life! :p Lulu is a tabby/ tortie, if I get her a playmate I would like a black male. Trying to work out how to not appear to be 'shopping' for a cat tho .... reasons are
    1. Black or white cats get passed over most
    2. Black or white cats are stunning
    3. A male should be easier to introduce to Lulu
    4. Noah was a white male, I couldn't bear another :(
    5. When I got my first ever two rescues, a black male was a very close third.

    See, total logic! :rotfl:

My old boy was black & white and I still couldn't have another (4 years past Easter since I lost him) so I know where you're coming from with not being able to have another white one.

I honestly don't know why they get passed over as they're adorable.
