I've known my OH two years but only dated for a year and a half.
I wonder how Christmas will go for most of us? My first proper childhood friend got married in August. Most of my friends are single though, big city dreamers they say they don't have time for relationships! I suppose 21/22 is still rather young though.0 -
I've been here a long time now got engaged in 2009
I've got 7 months to go tomorrow

Hey ladies! Can't believe I forgot to drop in here! I got engaged last weekend... H2B took me to the jewellers the morning after and I picked out the ring he had already been haggling on as he knew I'd love it. Shocked to say the least but really looking forward to starting wedding planning..094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

Congratulations Tatabubbly!!!
Just one piece of advice for you all and I honestly mean it.
Go abroad and get married because if you do it here it's nothing but a nightmare!

Thanks Ladies!
Well, I actually live abroad which means planning it from here is actually easier as I won't have everyone butting in and making their own comments about everything!
I'd already started thinking about stuff as we knew we were going to get married but I didn't think he'd do it when he did!I'm well chuffed with him, boy did good!

I'd recommend watching 'He's just not that into you'. It may make you appreciate what you've got... instead of what you want
Me and my boyfriend have been together just over 3 years, so kind of in the same boat - we've been to 5 weddings this year and have had countless "when's it your turn" which to be honest I find really inappropriate and nosy! What I think is, we'll be together forever, ring/piece of paper - or not. What's the rush0 -
