More from me, but not much. i only had a couple of hours spare.
i made this for hubbys nan an i remember the scented filling. very pleased with it.
my daughter wanted a new hairslide, and i had a delivery of buttons at weekend for another project and she loved them. we came up with this.
she has now requested more in other colours, lol
and for my baby i made this to hang on his pram. it is double sided and i've put a squeaker inside. i love it. gonna make some with other designs on.

As for hubbys sock monkey at weekend. He loved it. was over the moon. very impressed with the tool belt and detail i put into it. Monkey has gone to work with hubby today in his van and has pride of place.0 -

Lovely colours you've used on the beige/cream heart and how did you make the hair thing with the buttons. I've got a load of buttons and have done button necklaces and wanting something else to do with them.............think everyone I know now has a button necklace..........lol:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

tbh mary i'm not really sure how i made it,lol. i used 0.6mm wire and fiddled and played until i had a row of bead stacks long enough for the hair slide. think it was an 8cm slide. then i would the wire onto the slide. i didn't really think about it when i was making it i just played, lol.
seeing tho as i've got to make more i will try to make a mental note next time.
thankyou about the heart. it always hard choosing colours for someone else when they have every colour possible in there house but no set sort of room colour scheme if that makes sence. so i thought the neutral tones meant it could go in any room.0 -

i drew all the shapes free hand. but cookie cutters or childrens stencils would also work. if not happy with free hand.0
