Hope no one mind me starting a new thread , but over the last couple weeks hubby has been on night so i've been crafting to keep busy. what i've made covers lots of thread so i thought i'd put them in one thread. I'm hoping as i get better with crochet and sewing i can make some bits to give as xmas and birthdya gifts but for now they are just for our home.

I taught myself to crochet a couple of weeks ago, i made a babies blankets but this is what i'm working on for my dd, it got a way to go but before it gets to big, she loves it.

Thankyou Hart and Pootle. When i set my mind to it , i seem to make loads of crafts in a short space of time, then i have a spell when it takes me weeks to make one thing.

I'm hoping with the photo bit i can change the photos from time to time for him as we only have 3 little ones at the mo, but our 4th is due in aug and i'd love to add a picture of baby to the frame also.

i've been trying finish my babies patchwork quilt today. once i't done it'll put a picture of that up. i love it, so gonna make another so when one in wash , i'll have a spare.

aaww thankyou scattymam. the socks were from morrisons. £1.50 a pair. they had about 10 different designs.

miss pixie i couldn't crochet until about 2 weeks ago. it was a craft i just couldn't get the hang of. it never made sence. but then i took bull by horns and throught i'm gonna do this. so armed with you tube away i went. i have to say tho i found it easier semi winging it to start and experimenting as i'm more of a trial and error person. and my first few attempts looks like big balls of knots:rotfl: but i got there. i still have trouble getting it started , but once i'm going i'm fine.so finally at the grand old age of 29 i did it.

thanks rufusdog. my little ones wanted to keep the monkey.

mission for today is to make one for hubby for fathers day as he's said he'd love one to sit with him in his works van.

I've enjoyed looking through the photos, loved everything. The wall hangings - although I've seen many ones with hearts over the years, but none like yours. Well done.

It's so nice that you have started crocheting as that is a very fulfilling hobby.
