Quidco Question and Answers

After years of relatively trouble-free cashback experience with Quidco, I have had to submit a claim for my last three substantial transactions - two of which were car insurance policies, with decent cashback amounts - Churchill and esure.
What has caused this apparent sudden lack of tracking reliability? I'm beginning to get more than a bit frustrated. I'm not doing anything different, so I can only assume that the problem must be with Quidco.
Maybe it's time for me to start questioning my loyalty to Quidco and give another cashback site a try to see whether they are any more reliable?
And why is it so damn difficult to find a contact email address for Quidco on their website? I find that really annoying.0 -
Has anyone else had a problem with Ocado? I ordered through them which went through as I can see it in my activity, but I never got the amount, I raised a claim and had to wait 26 days, now Quidco say they have sent it onto Ocado. Has anyone recently got their money from Ocado?0

Good morning,
@abarthman - No cashback site will actually track your cashback themselves, we all use the same affiliate networks to carry out the tracking so nothing in relation to tracking has changed at their end, although there are over 30 networks who work with Quidco so it could be that your browser/security software is blocking one particular network.
All of our customer service is completed via our contact form at the moment, however we are currently working on improvements to our customer service centre as a whole.
@Elvisia - I believe Ocado were experiencing a problem with tracking recently but this should now be fixed. Ocado will usually take around 4 months to confirm the cashback in your account.
Many thanks,

Hi all,
I've recently taken out TalkTalk cash back through Quidco for £65 cash back. However their Internet service wasn't fully working so the online advisor told me to complete the order so it can be tracked then ring them after 24 hours to make a payment toward my line rental (which will reduce my monthly bill). It is still the same deal, but I'm paying off my line rental in full which it wouldn't let me do online.
I am worried that because this is technically amending my order although not changing the service that quidco offers cash back for that it will not track and I won't receive the cash back?
Any advice will be great
Thanks!0 -
Hi,
I've just had a claim refused from Ocado even after Quidco tracked back £6 instead of £15. All I got when I queried it with Quidco was don't worry followed by 'Raise a claim'.
Yesterday I needed to book airport parking so checked out the cashback offers against other voucher code sites. Quidco offered slightly higher discount than the voucher code but having now had problems with cashback I will always go for a discounted price. A bird in the hand as they say!
My faith and interest in Quidco is failing rapidly and the chances of me using Ocado again are nil.
Just a couple of thoughts for those looking to see what experiences other are having with Ocado and how it tarnishes Quidco.0 -
Hi all
I have a problem with Asda. Quidco tracked the sale at £5.50 then after a few weeks it was removed. After querying it I received the message that Asda claim they have paid the cashback to another marketing chanel.
THIS IS PURE ROT.
How can I find out who they are 'supposed' to have paid it to ??
I am having nothing but trouble with quidco recently.
My last three transactions are all being queried and as this is the first one that's been 'answered' it's not looking good for the rest !!
:mad:RememberThere's no such thing as an idle thought
Many thanks to :A EVERYONE :A who posts on here.......I :heart2: you guys :kisses3:0 -

@house of cards – Music Magpie do sometimes do this, so please don’t worry at the moment. Are you able to confirm for me your Quidco UserID so I can check what the status is of your claims? If you don’t want to post on here can I ask you to email members@quidco.com and I’ll be happy to look into this in a little more detail for you.

Thank you for the info - the claim seems to be going through Quidco okay (now been raised with MM) so I'll just sit tight and see what happens. Shame that MM have to mess people around - I wonder how much they get out of paying! I checked my bank statements and the cheques MM sent me do match my original orders so I know there were no problems with refusal of one or more items.January £5 per day £284.87/£155 February £10 per day £294.470 -
Hi Quidco, can you tell me if there is a minimum subscription term for the upgrade to sky movies for £8 per month offer please? I know that price is for 3 months but would I be tied in for longer afterwards at the full cost? It's not very clear on sky or quidco so thought i'd ask you here, hope that is ok x0

Good afternoon,
I hope you've all had a good weekend.
@Amnesia180 – That is a tricky one, as you’re still completing the order online so the purchase should still track, but as you say, it may count as an amendment. I’m afraid we wouldn’t be able to guarantee the cashback would be paid in this case, although if the order number doesn't change then it may be OK - but as I say, we wouldn't be able to confirm.
@Albert21 – I’m very sorry to hear that, however I can see that you have been advised to raise a cashback claim so we would recommend doing this so we can find out more about why the retailer has decided to decline your claim, and we can certainly investigate this further for you.
@jumbaya – I’m very sorry about that – did you use any vouchers or other promotions with the offer? I’m afraid the retailer won’t tell us where they have paid the commission to, but we would always recommend clearing your browser cookies and cache before making a purchase to prevent this from happening in the future.
@house of cards – They do seem to pay out a lot of cashback, many of the claims that are raised for them do get approved so it looks like this may just be the way that they process cashback, unfortunately!
@mum26 – I believe that you can cancel Sky Movies at any time once the cashback has been paid to you (we wouldn’t recommend cancelling before then, just in case), however it could be worth checking with Sky directly to see if they have a set contract when you take out Sky Movies.
Many thanks,

Hi,
I took out a 12 month sim only Vodafone contract via Quidco on 30th March 2012. At the time the deal was offering £80 cashback. It tracked at £75 so I was going to query it until I saw on your website that Vodafone always tracks at the wrong amount. However now I've been paid £75 (well £70 after the £5 Quidco fee). My Quidco username is Charlie79.
Thanks in advance,
Charlotte0
