    Very very disappointed with Quidco.
    Clicked through them to Currys/PC World in Feb 2020. 15% cashback for buying a TV . Transaction tracked.
    What a joke!. Cashback of over £50 has just been declined as returned/cancelled/amended order.
    I am sitting here looking at the flipping TV. There was absolutely no returning/cancelling/amending of my order whatsoever. I'm not a newbie. I clear cookies.
    Why are companies who do this allowed to still continue even when it's brought to quidco's attention?

    Because this is essentially unregulated activity, wrapped in impenetrable terms and conditions and shrouded in secrecy. Unfortunately you are not allowed to see the source data on which the "decision" has been made to decline your cashback, putting you at a major disadvantage as you cannot prove that you are right and they are wrong.  Yes, you can show the transaction took place - even that it tracked - but you can't prove that there isn't a contradictory piece of data somewhere in their system.

    Hey there, I am really sorry for this I do appreciate how disappointing it is when cash back is being declined by the retailer, we do everything we can to obtain cash back for our members. Regretfully we do advise on the user agreement that we cant guarantee cash back due to the declines coming from the retailer which sometimes can be out of our hands. If you would like to send another email to joseph@quidco.com we can take another look for you and see if there is anything we can do further for you.
