There needs to be a consistent message about a) whether there is a problem or not, b) what the problem is, c) what you're doing about it and d) how long it is likely to take to resolve.

I've contacted customer service twice and I'm no further forward getting my confirmed transaction paid.

After being Confirmed for a week they've now changed the status back to Tracked which conveniently gets them out of dealing with the problem. Annoyingly, when I contacted customer service they just give a standard response about technical issues and said it was all sorted. The only reason it's "sorted" is because they've changed the status back

    Hi @zkw29

I'm sorry you're still experiencing some issues with your account. As you are probably aware there have been some issues with the system which has arisen because of the updates to our payment system. The majority of these issues have now been resolved and we are seeing improvements to our members accounts.

Unfortunately there are still some residual issues left which are still effecting peoples accounts but we are working hard to get everything running smoothly as soon as possible. In regards to the status's updating, this is an error and will be resolved as a matter of priority.

I'm pleased to hear you're in contact with the customer support team who will be able to help you with the specifics of your account.

    Kind Regards

    Q for Quidco.

my non tracking situation is beginning to peev me off at both TCB and Quidco.

does anyone know if TCB and/or Quidco still have that page where you can "test tracking"?

I am sure everything on my PC is set right but NOTHING is tracking.

that's now 2 x NW accounts and a Barclaycard that apparently has "100% tracking reliability" that's not tracked over the 2 cashback sites in less than a month.

This is more likely to be with your PC blocking the tracking cookies for nothing to track at both TCB and Quidco.

Do you have Ad Blocker or something similar.

    Hi @pfpf

I'm sorry to hear that your purchases haven't been tracking. We don't unfortunately have a 'test tracking' page, however here is a link to our tracking tips - http://www.quidco.com/help/1435/

The most common reasons why cashback wouldn't track automatically are:

    1) Browser Software Settings - e.g. If your browser is set to private, incognito or not to allow cookies.
    2) Firewall Software - Preventing the cookies from being placed on the computer.
    3) Security Updates (including Windows) - May automatically mark tracking cookies as a threat and block them.
    4) If you have an ad blocker or pop-up blocker enabled on your browser

As always, if ever cashback doesn't track automatically into your account you can always raise a missing cashback claim.

    I hope this has helped

    Kind Regards

thank you. I understand and almost accept this but cant find the issue which is why I keep asking Quidco and TCB if they still have their "test tacking page?".

what I have running in "protection".

    MS security essentials.
    CC cleaner with "active monitoring"
    spyware blaster.

each I have switched off (as far as I can see) each time I have used a CB site & I have used different browsers + all the standard clearing cookies etc.

I have another couple of purchases to make which would include large CB amounts but i'm holding off till I find the tracking issue.

again takes me to the same "where is the test tracking page?" question.

edit. quidco replied while I was typing. no test tracking page, thanks.

as far as I am aware I have done all that stuff that is required and always have. tracking used to be fairly good but having only returned to using CB sites in the last few months NOTHING has tracked inc. 2 x NW bank accounts and a Barclaycard that states 100% tracking success.

how can I find the culprit?

    ok, having another fish around.

using IE and W7 as my starting OS.

how do I find if javascript is enabled? <<< answered this myself. I do.

I had completely forgotten about the firewall, I have got so used to MS security essentials just running in the background I had forgot switching that off didn't switch off the firewall - its just the standard MS firewall. - how do I check if settings in there have been the problem? of course I can switch it off next time but I would like to see if the settings I have have caused the non trackings.

    thank you.

    Hi Abbie (Quidco)
I am waiting for an amount from the coop to be confirmed, is it possible you can tell me the best way to chase this up.
I also had an email offering an extra £10 cash back on any purchase, the purchase has tracked but the extra cash isn't showing yet, how do I chase that.
    Thanks for your help
    Regards

  • Quidco says estimated time for cashback is 15March for Nationwide Flexaccount £75 purchase, this is my first quidco experience, is this real? Really?! will it take until March for it to appear as a confirmed payment?

    Hi @pfpf,

You can see the firewall settings for the Microsoft Firewall by going to your control panel then security then firewall. You can see the settings and turn the firewall off here if needed.

I would advise using a different browser for your Quidco purchases, this way you can set the browser up accordingly and then you won't need to amend the settings when you want to make a purchase.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi @cazarol,

The best way to chase this up is to contact our customer support team via your Quidco account. They will then be able to look into your account and provide further assistance with this.

Once the cashback has confirmed you should receive the bonus as the bonus' are triggered when the initial cashback is updated to confirmed.

Please do ask our support team about this as they will be more than happy to explain this for you.
