Hello QCR,
Home insurance sainsburys
I purchased Sainsbury's home insurance via Quidco on the 12th of July 2012. It tracked succesfully but nothing has happened since. The main reason this insurance was good value was because of this cash back and I decided to take the risk but nothing has happened since then. Please advise
Many thanksHi Dave,
Please see my query above.
Hi krissy08,
We're only able to handle Aviva related queries. In your case I'd recommend contacting your Sainsbury's Home Insurance Customer Services department. The contact details will be on your policy documents.
I hope you get it resolved soon.
Kind regards,

I purchased some O2 minutes, and both purchases didn't track.
I raised a claim, and Quidco said that they needed a transaction ID.
I gave them the transaction ID when I received my credit card statement.
They were 8 digits, starting with a '0'.
Quidco said they should be 8 digits starting with a '1'.
I asked them to confirm that, as that was my CC reference.
Quidco sat on it for 2 weeks and closed the claim.
Sorry, Quidco, but if you rip me off then I have to think about whether I can trust you.0 -
Good afternoon,
@krissy08 – I believe Sainsbury’s do take around 7 months to confirm their home insurance cashback, as is the case with the majority of insurance purchases. You can find the average payment speed on their Quidco page.
@pincherrn – Hi, welcome to Quidco! Each retailer will have its own payment statistics on their Quidco page, so you can see how long they are taking, on average, to pay. Sky Digital Upgrades are taking around 4 months to confirm cashback, I’m not sure which retailer you booked the airport parking with, but if you search for them on the Quidco site and go to their page, you should be able to see how long they take.
@littlewren – the payment speed for claims is the last statistic, as below. The 6 months is from the date that you raised the claim, to confirmation of payment.
Cashback claim payment speed
Less than 6 months
(from submission date)
However I can see that Aviva are going to take a look into this for you
@thor – sorry to hear that, can you please use the drop down option ‘why is my cashback showing as ‘no amount’, from the help section.
@margf – sorry to hear this, it sounds as though it was closed incorrectly. Can you please contact the support team via the help section, selecting ‘why has my claim been closed?’.
@Eccle - I've spoken to the team running this and they're going to make sure they're included for you
Many thanks,
Rosie

It's been over five weeks and my three mobile cashback is still just 'tracked'.
I took the deal on the basis of the cashback making it cheaper than a rival option. I didn't think I'd be waiting longer than a month to receive it. What's the hold up?0 -

I'm sorry to see you are having trouble claiming your cashback. If you can email me your full name, date of birth, post code and policy number to social@aviva.co.uk I can chase this with our cash back rep for you and get this raised right away. If you can also include your MSE username Littlewren when you email me it will make it easier to link your email to this post meaning I can get the issue resolved quicker for you.
I look forward to receiving your email.

Hi I purchased my car insurance through the green insurance co via quidco on the 10th May, it tracked almost immediately and i submitted the additional information requested after purchase. I don't log in that often to quidco, but occasionally checked to see if it had been paid yet.
I just logged in today and got a declined status, declined 12th September. So I went to raise a challenge to the decline as it was a genuine purchase, and got a message saying quidco cant raise a challenge as 45 days had passed since the decline was issued.
The cashback swayed my decision to use this company, and now I certainly wont be renewing my policy with them, not happy.:hello:0 -
FAO THE QUIDCO REP
I purchased Sainsburys Car insurance on 21 FEB 2012 and Home Insurance on 31 MARCH 2012. Each was to pay £50 cash back. I am waiting on £100 and I think that I have been very patient. I want to add that had it not been for the cash back I would not have gone for these insurance policies and feel a bit duped.
The claims are stuck at CLAIM RAISED. Can you shed any light on this and hurry it along?
I know that you said they take an average of 7 months to pay. But my claim has been ongoing from February and from March?
Can you help?Jellynose0 -
My Quidco username is Geebwoy.
I have several transaction that are taking far too long to be paid.
The first is Thomas Cook claim raised on 18th July 2012. Thomas Cook show as a fast paying with 100% of claims being paid being paid within 60days.
The second is an Asda Direct claim tracked 26th June 2012. Asda Direct also show as fast paying with 100% of claims being paid within 3 months.
Apart from having to wait for the money which is annoying my main grievance is that the statistic given on your website are at best misleading and at worst dishonest. If stats are there to give claimant an idea of when they get their money surely they should be updated more frequently.
My other bugbear is the fact that we cannot contact you direct about claims unless you request it.
Please can you update me as to why it has taken so much longer than your stats for my claims to be paid.0 -
I have made a few purchases from pc world and each one declined yt when I tried to raise a query it said as it was declined over 30 days ago I can't do anything!!
Unfortunately it was over holiday time so didn't get chance to check my account for a few weeks to come back and find this
What is the problem with PC world and quidco?0
