    Hello,

My £38 Plusnet cashback has been declined and the reason given was "Response from Merchant. Enquiry Unsuccessful - Another marketing channel was credited with sale"

Please can you tell me what this means? Another marketing channel? I only use Quidco to earn cashback, I don't go to other sites. I don't understand why it has done this. I remember when filing a claim, it asks for an account number but I couldn't find one so I just used a transaction or invoice number as that's the best I could find.

    My Quidco name is gohan2091
  • Hi Quidco rep, my Quidco username is richardburgess1, I switched gas and electric supplies to Npower on 26 jan 2012, my £100 tracked successfully, however it has never made it to confirmed or paid.
I raised a ticket no. 2713496 on 3 september and again on 9th October ticket number 2849091, both of which received polite replies saying that it was being looked into, now I'm 2 months on from the first ticket and 9 months from the original transaction, can you help or do I need to contact Npower?
    Thanks Dicky

I took out Sky with broadband, telephone HD etc back in July. It never tracked so I raised a claim and in August and then got a reply in October. I got the following message
    04 Oct 12 at 06:45
We're delighted to tell you that your Sky Digital Upgrades (TV and Broadband) cashback claim has been approved and now we're just waiting for them to confirm your cashback.
Once your cashback is confirmed and received by Quidco, we'll update your claim to "confirmed" status in your Activity Page

Can you advise me of when I will receive the cashback as its now been 4 months.

    Thanks
  • Hi Quidco, can you chase up a few tracked items. Jet2 from June, Riu hotels from August, I have now completed my stay. Also Sainsburys Bank from July.
    Thanks.

Quidco and Sky's "relationship" is a complex one. I wouldn't be surprised if they subsequently tell you your claim has been rejected.

I'm still waiting for the second part of my Sky cashback to pay out and I'm honestly losing the will to live. Once it pays out then i'm done with Quidco for good.

why would they do that? they have already approved the claim!
  • Hi everyone,
I'm a newbie and not sure whether I should add to this thread but I've used Quidco for several years and been very happy with it, apart from some payments being slow to appear. I've now hit a problem - I applied through Quidco for an Orange SIM-only contract, with £50 Quidco cashback. My application was successful and I'm happily using the SIM. But the cashback was turned down by Orange. I opened a case with Quidco and today had a Support Ticket Update email, which said: "Response from Merchant. Enquiry Unsuccessful - Order Cancelled or returned." The order clearly wasn't cancelled - the SIM is in my phone, works just fine, and Orange takes money from my bank account every month. I can't see how to appeal further via the Quidco website - I seem to have hit a dead end. Can either the Quidco or Orange reps on this Forum get in touch please?

    Many thanks,
    Peter668.

They approved your claim and then declined the cash back? Can't see why they would approve the claim and then decline it.

I'm a bit of a newbie with quidco so don't know what their history is like.

    Good Afternoon!

@HKitten - Sorry to hear that this seems to be slightly delayed! We should be able to escalate this for you so you will receive the payment soon. Please just raise a ticket on the following link so we can do this for you.

@andy5566 - I'm sorry to hear that. We do allow up to 7 weeks from the date it was declined to investigate this for you so it allows time to check your account and see that it has been declined etc. Unfortuantely, the retailer won't accept any cashback claims investigating the declined cashback after this time so we wouldn't be able to help you further on this occasion. I apologise for any disappointment caused on this occasion.

@jellynose - Thanks for letting us know. It sounds like the claim from February is delayed so we will need to look into this for you. It should take around 8 months for both claims to be processed so please allow up to the end of the month for the claim raised in March. However, if you raise a ticket on the following link we can chase your outstanding claim for you and hopefully get a positive resolution!

@Geebwoy - Please be advised that we only obtained the faster paying contract with certain retailers since 16 August, so it only applies to purchases made after that date unfortunately. Therefore, the new processing times on the retailer pages won't apply to purchases made before that date which can cause confusion! Thomas Cook and Asda Direct claims should take around 5 months to be processed before that date so please allow up to the end of November for these to be processed and if they aren't send us a ticket on this link. I hope that helps.

@Timetogetupandgo - Sorry to hear that! Without raising a claim we couldn't tell you the reason that your cashback has been declined. However what was the date that your transaction was declined? we might be able to help you further.

@gohan2091 - Sorry to hear that! If you raise a ticket on the following link we can explain this further for you .

@DickyB - Sorry to hear that. We are aware of delays with npower at the moment so we are currently chasing the affiliate network for a response regarding these transactions. We do understand this is frustrating so thanks for your patience and we will contact you as soon as we have an update!

@Peter668 - It sounds like the retailer has made a mistake with this decline and we will be happy to look into that for you. Please could you raise a ticket on the following link and we will contact the network and hopefully get a positive resolution for you.

@jasonwatkins - Sorry to hear that. However, I can assure you that once a claim has been approved it can not be declined as it means that the retailer has approved the cashback and we are just waiting to receive it. I hope that helps.

Hope everyones having a good week.
