Hi, you sent me a payment but it went to the wrong bank, and my account there is closed. Can you please advise how to rectify this. My username is Lesleyet

If the money's been sent to a closed account, it should bounce back to Quidco after a day or two.

Have you checked your settings on your account to see what bank details they have??

    Good afternoon,

I hope you all had a nice weekend.

@Phantom Flan Flinger – That sounds as though it is tracking at the wrong rate, sorry about that! Can you please contact the support team via this link and they can certainly investigate for you.

@rising from the ashes – I do understand your concern, and believe me we would love it if there were a quicker way around this! Some retailers are a lot quicker than others of course, the retailers pushing 6+ months for payment generally tend to be insurers. The reason that they can take longer is that they have to go through a more rigorous validation process, to confirm that a transaction is genuine. As the cashback industry has expanded, the number of fraud/abuse groups who are targeting cashback sites has increased too, which has unfortunately resulted in these further checks and processes coming into play. We don’t like your cashback to take any longer than this either, it is frustrating having to wait; we at Quidco have to wait the same amount of time for our cashback as our members so we can of course sympathise when cashback is delayed. Sometimes the delays in cashback can be a result of the third parties whom we work with, so this does somewhat prevent the option of having a cut off payment date with our retailers.

@bleepandbooster – That’s great to hear, I’m glad it’s finally been confirmed. We do give the 8 week message as an estimate, as we do like to manage your expectations. However a lot of the time the cashback will be confirmed well within the 8 weeks. Oh, and my holiday was lovely, thanks for asking!

@shaggy – Insurance claims do tend to take a lot longer as they will have a longer validation period. The average payment speed for Swinton Insurance is around 6 months (in total), from the date that the claim was raised.

@mrst66 – Don’t worry, when this happens the payment will usually bounce back to us within around 15 days time. Can you make sure that you have inputted your new payment details, and I’ll put a note on your account so we can check that the payment has been returned in around two weeks time.

    Many thanks,

    Rosie

Thanks Rosie, but the stock answer is
Unfortunately, as advised on their page on our site, Toprooms.com doesn't accept cashback claims, so we're unable find out why your cashback amount was incorrect on this occasion.

which seems a bit of a mockery really.

Sorry your cashback tracked at the wrong amount......tough.

Tesco still dragging their feet over broadband cashback and 2 x mobile phone contracts (one of which they've declined saying they have no trace of which is an absolute joke). I am never using Tesco for anything ever again they really are shysters. BUYERS BEWARE.

Has anyone else has this issue? I bought a £199.00 pay as you go phone on Orange on 28 June via Quidco (who had £60 cashback for phones over £140). It tracked within hours at £60, and this afternoon I was on the site - still there at £60. On half an hour later and it's now gone to £30.

I haven't read all of this thread, but I have to agree with many others, I feel Quidco is not what it used to be, by a long way

    What's happened Quidco rep?

Hi Quidco - Could I just ask before buying Halifax car insurance.
Quidco is offering £50 for a new policy and if you click through your link to Halifax they too are offering a £50 cheque on a new policy taken out.

So is there a possible £100 to be made here or am I reading it wrong.

Many thanks if you could clarify!
  • Hi Quidco!

I would like to get virgin media internet.
I am looking at just the internet for 60mb.
It says at the moment the cashback is £142.50.
I was basically wondering if I can get this cashback on JUST the internet or would I need to get a package?

    Thank you

I have a cashback claim which has gone to status Claim Closed.
I have no cashback, and no explanation as to why.

The purchase was June 2011, over a year ago.

There seems to be no way for me to actually get a question answered by quidco any more (that's why i'm trying this forum thread)

Come on Quidco, what's going on?
Is there any way I can get a message to somebody and get some answers?
please PM if you value my custom.

    Thanks

I purchased 2 items from Tesco Direct in December 2011, both on the same day and about 20 minutes apart. Neither of them tracked so I submitted quidco claims for each of them.

After 7 months Tesco rejected the first item (due a £24 rebate) saying that they had paid the cashback to a different referrer (although I have never used any other referral or voucher websites than quidco, and I clear cookies before purchase).

Then last week they confirmed the second item (for only £0.45 rebate).

How can they treat 2 purchases only 20 minutes apart so differently. If they claim that I had other referrer cookies in place for the first purchase, then why did the second purchase get confirmed ok.

Seems to me like Tesco are choosing to avoid paying the larger rebates by claiming to have paid them elsewhere when we have no comeback and they dont have to prove anything..

    Hi,

I've just taken out car insurance from Direct Line having clicked through from Quidco.

My concern is I paid in full with a debit card, the conditions state 'Quidco will only pay cashback on Direct Line policies to users who use BACS as their payment method.' Does this count? I phoned Direct Line but the guy didn't have a clue and had never heard of Quidco. There is no option of paying 'by BACS' on the internet.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks v much in advance
