    £9.78 @ Amazon

You can buy the 2009 version and once you've activated it you can download the latest version from Kaspersky online and upgrade at no extra cost.

you can upgrades patches and definitions, but not when they upgrade versions.

i get mine from software4students, but this links to a kaspersky account and each year you can upgrade with a 25% discount.

also you buy the 2009 version this will not install on Win 7

How much would you say you've spent on Kaspersky in your 10+ years of using it?

I think a better poll would be: Has your PC ever had an infection/Trojan/virus etc?
    Were you using:

    FREE antivirus/security? or
    PAID antivirus/security?

I'd bet that there would be more infected computers in the FREE than the paid. Although I suppose it will be argued that as more people use free than paid for then it will obviously be higher.

Point being that I can't ever remember reading a post on this forum (or any other) where a user has asked for help removing an infection when they were using either Kaspersky or Eset/Nod32...but have read HUNDREDS from users using AVG/Avast/McAfee and even Norton (though not so much in the last couple of years re Norton).

    Just a thought...

that is pointless to answer as you cant place a price on the security of your computer system.

I could easily get this direct from Kaspersky, but we all like to save a bit not that i get to save the £20 as this goes towards other software fees

Also i can claim this as a business expense

If your KIS license is ACTIVE

You can use your current activation code (key file) with KIS 2011. The remaining time on your license period will be carried over.
