A4E and the like should have their contracts cancelled and the whole back-to-work scheme should be handled in-house by the DWP. This would save the Govt. a small fortune in not having to pay-out 'bonuses' on top of the 'running costs' they pay the providers.Never Knowingly Understood.

I can't stand this programme, it is so false. When they have people who have been out of work for years with no experience suddenly getting interviews it just makes a mockery of the whole thing and makes getting a job look easy. I'm sorry to say that in most of these cases they would not even get to interview stage, let alone get a job offer- and when they get a job offer just who do they provide as a reference? Like others have said, I also feel bad for the jobhunters who applied for the jobs in the programme- they never had a chance.0

She is so patroninsing. I'm surprised she hasn't ended up in Casualty and I don't mean the tv programme." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."

She also needs to be careful. Turning up at people's houses, and talking to them about their past - like the girl who had never been praised as a child and was bullied etc. I'm not saying those things don't impact confidence or current circumstances, but neither trainers nor coaches should ever enter the realms of a counsellor, possibly opening up quite deep, emotional issues for people. Hugging them and letting them cry on you, and asking them to talk about their past and being bullied is crossing the line, IMO.
(And even a professional counsellor wouldn't allow a hug!)' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0 -
