Ive been made redundant 3 times in 10 years. But I wouldnt let myself get to the point where I needed to attend one of her classes. There are jobs there for the taking, you just have to go and look. Standing in the Job centre for 1 hour a week isnt what I call looking for a job.
exactly, its down to what websites you search,0 -
I think what I learnt from watching and my thoughts in general is that the 'Fairy godmother' is a positive, motivated individual who encourages these
people to do something about being jobless. These people probably don't have anyone in their lives that encourage them to work and some may well have been brought up with 'having a job' being a low down priority. Why do I need and want to work? A big reason is my parents would kick my behind if I didn't.
So maybe we need more job advisors with that much enthusiasm and motivation, because it's infectious.
So happy for the people getting jobs and obviously keeping them, looks like they just needed that guidance and a little push.Trying to spread calmness, understanding and optimism on MSE0 -
Surely for the unemployed people involved its still a great thing that they end up with jobs????0

3 months is not keeping them in my opinion. Lets see if they are still employed in 6 months time when the camera has stopped rolling and you have forgotten who they were?:footie:0 -
