I king of agree....I dont really use Tesco points as new to it all but please tell me whats great about this, please. The way I see it...

    Yali - £4.99, 158 points = £4.74 deals

So I spend £299.40 and I get 9480 points = £94.80 actual spend in shop or £284.40 in deals?

So I get 60 bottles of wine for £15 if I use the points for deals?

Considering that most of the deals cannot be used with any other offer, such as alton towers, which can be bought half price anyway therefore the vouchers are only worth £142 in reality.

So my £299.40 spend gets me 60 bottles of wine and £142 to spend at selected retailers.

If this is correct then I cannot see why it is so popular. I am hoping I have missed something here as I said I am new to this and hope someone can clarify why this is so good,

    Many thanks

The title's not misleading. If you use your 3 x points then a combination of Yali & Leffe means the booze is effectively free.

Don't forget using a Tesco credit card nets you extra points as well.

Plus spend over £50 and get up to 15p off a litre of petrol/diesel.

    It all adds up.

If you need Airmiles, this offer is not quite free - would have been close under £2.50 = 60 but it's now 50 :o - but it does drastically reduce the cost of the flights.

I've worked out I'll be paying about £30 each way to fly British Airways scheduled flights with 20 kg baggage allowance, free food and booze on board, choice of 3 flights a day from Heathrow.

Stuff that up your extra fees Mr O'Leary!

I feel this is only really good if you're going to use the (very limited) clubcard deals anyway, which I suggest is relatively few people, and if you would normally use an excessive amount of these products. Otherwise I think you'd be spending excessively on something you didn't really want, in order to get something else you didn't really want, kind of like a very high-spend BOGOF. In other words, I think the title oversells this deal as something fabulous, when it's probably of limited appeal.

I don't know if it's that limited. we live in NI and use our deal vouchers for ferries at x3 so that would be something which would appeal to a lot of people.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
I'm not much of an alcohol drinker so I haven't read this thread before now, but I did comment on a related offer yesterday on another thread.
Tesco have the Heidseick champagne giving you 750 extra points. This is priced at £29.99 in T but is only £19 in Asda. If the rtd works you'll be paying £19 for 750 pts + 60 = 810 cc points x3 = £24.30. So cheaper than free champagne!!

Is it worth a go for anyone??

    It's only a game

    Ker-ching!

And another 2000 points arrive! :D:D:D:D:D

These £10 off vouchers do more than pay for delivery, they actually take £7 off the cost of an Airmiles flight ;)

Italy is Zone 2 for Air Miles, which equals 1500 miles.

Exchanging £2.50 in Clubcard Vouchers gives 50 Air Miles.

So you'd need 30 x £2.50 vouchers = £75 in Clubcard Vouchers for a flight to Italy (typically on BA).

Alternatively, that's 50 bottles of Yali white wine @ £4.99 each (actually slightly fewer, as you get slightly more than £1.50 in Clubcard vouchers per bottle).

You can also be referred to switch one of your existing current accounts to a Lloyds TSB account and get 750 miles, which would get you half way to your target. For more on this send me a PM :T

So you spend £249.50 on wine you dont need , to get a 'free' flight?
