SAHM paying off debts slowly

Just had some fab news - annoying friend who i have had issues with is moving over an hour away very very soon. She is so depressive she brings everyone else down with her. Its very funny to see people on fb say 'go for it' and knowing they are all giving a little cheer themselves lol i guess i shouldn't get hopes up too much as she is not gone yet but she is ringing the local schools today to get them transferred hopefully by sept. I must sound horrid but her and her kids have bought so much missery to my children it will be a pleasant relief once she has left. Plus other mildly annoying friend also looks like they are going too and are putting their house on the market this week. I really do work better without friends. I get walked over too easy and if no friends (other than 2 real best friends that i have) i cant get used like before.

Oh wow, great news they're moving! If I ever find out my NN is moving I will be :j and :T and having a celebratory drink
so totally understand where you are coming from
Lunch ideas? How about savoury rice does he like that? It can bought either very cheaply from a1di or made yourself for not very much (and much healthier as you can hide all sorts in it) agree with tuna, pasta mayo, how about egg & cress mayo? Easy to make and can be eaten in a roll or sandwich. HM scones (can put fruit in or make them savoury with cheese & courgettes etc)...hope you can do it cheaply enough. I think he should give you some money towards it though if your budget is already tight

Thanks DFW i thought you might remember the problems with her and relate because of your NN. Here's is hoping your NN get going soon lol.
OH is not really a cake person but is partial to a banana loaf so that might be one to do. He does like rice so i mention it to him and see what he says.
We had roast chicken last night so have some leftovers from that although may leave this until tomorrow night. Thinking chicken burgers and salad tonight before i freeze the rest of the rolls i bought yesterday. I will be doing a freezer list tomorrow when i have the whole day to myself so i can make a definite list of meals for the week. Tomorrow it will be enchiladas with the left over chicken and possibly so of the Xmas turkey left over in the bottom of the freezer. Need to make some muffins too for lunches wed onwardsMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Not good - i have been sat on my bum since school run this morning and just heard on radio its 11am. where did the last 2 hours go? Need to bake cakes and clean upstairs and hoover stairs.
My excuse is lounge is tidy and kitchen acceptable and i didnt sleep well at all last night - bed just felt extra uncomfortable - not sure why - perhaps as i have cleared some bits from underneath there is just not enough holding it up anymore lolMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Well made cakes, done some washing and made a list of whats in the freezer. Got a lot of blackberries, blueberries and general mixed fruit so now trying to think what to make. Seriously lacking potatoes which we seem to live on. Wondering when our from outside will be ready as i could then raid them lol - threw packet away last year as thought i had made such a poor job of growing them and then they regrew this year and certainly look much better.
I also have some cream that i froze that has been in the freezer for a long time now that i would like to use up. There are 2 pots of double and 1 pot of single cream. Wondering if i can combine these with the fruit and produce some kind of ice cream / desert of some kind. There is also a few ready meals / extra portions of food i have had left so will try and get those gone this week. Found some sausages at the very bottom so that will do for tomorrow when DS friend is here. Not sure what to do with it yet?Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Freezer meals are going well so far and it is looking very minimal in there now. i am down to my last few pence in the purse so may have to dip into another pot for any extras we might need. We are on the last few dregs of squash so i may have to buy a cheap bottle just to keep me and the kids going. They will drink water but i wont hear the end of it. Think maybe every other drink can be water and the very dilute squash for the rest (normally very weak anyway).
I have bought 2 copies of the sun this morning (80p's worth of papers) purely for the £5 voucher off fruit and veg from morrisons in each so £10 to spend. I need to use it between today and sunday but that is very easy to do. tempted to see if i can get another paper later maybe. Am looking forward to stocking up the veg and fruit bowl as its a little pathetic at the moment. I am quite excited to go get my free fruit (well nearly free lol). Now if they could only do one for meat and another for dairy that would be me sorted.
My friend has given me 7 large bin bags of clothes to get rid of as they are moving house and she just doesnt have the time to get them gone. The local place that weighs clothes in for money is shut until mon. Was really hoping i could get a few pennies from them as she doesnt want anything for them. Its all designer stuff and hardly used but not the right size for OH or i would have kitted out his wardrobe which really does need doing. Tempted to see if any would sell on ebay but as i have had too many bad experiences now i may just weigh them in. It might give me a chance to see if OH wardrobe can add another bag or 2 to the pile for a few more £'s. Not sure how much i will get, but even a few £'s is better than nothing for next weeks budget or the holiday fund.
Need to bake cakes for the weekend today and have a quick clean downstairs - mainly done but a quick sweep and wipe down will be ok - and then onto the girls bedroom. Cant see the floor at the moment and there is just too much stuff in there. Thinking another bag or two of clothes there too. Can you tell i am putting it off and looking for work elsewhere to avoid it lol. Right time to get off my bum and get moving. Have a great day everyoneMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Girls room almost decluttered. Got 2 more bags of clothes to add t my friends. Found another place to take them just up the road and made £23.25 so that will do nicely. On the way home from after school clubs i went to morrisons and spent one of my £5 on fruit and veg. Got some apples, potatoes, onions, bananas, carrots, cauliflower . This came to £5.19 I think then 30p for squash - so only paid 49p for 2 bags of shopping. I like this kind of shopping. Looked for another copy of the newspaper but none left anywhere i tried. Never mind i still have 1 more voucher to use so can get some more bits. Right off to put kids to bedMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

I am gutted as we have no morrisons near us
I made icecreamdid you see my pic on fb? Have a look! If you like the look of it I will pm you the link on fb (as not sure I can post it on here?) and the recipe where it was from. Double cream, bit of sugar and berries and that's all you need
My house is a tip right now, everything needs dusting and I just can't muster the energy or motivation! xx

DFW that icecream looks lovely - may have to just give it a go and see what happens.
Been out to toddler group this morning and did banking on the way. Spent nothing so happy with that. I did collect some free yoghurts as i had some vouchers for the full price. There was a stall on the market place for the local spa. I entered the free prize draw and was very tempted at getting a £2 day pass which are normally £15. Good price but no one really to go with and wouldn't have wanted to go alone so i passed but will be happy if i win the prize.Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19
