Haven't caught up with previous postings so not too sure whats the matter with BB leg (or who BB is but no matter:rotfl:) but hope its ok soon. You are all so busy its making me tired to read all you do. I suppose I did go through all that when the children were small but times a great healer.:rotfl:

I changed our bed and vacumed/dusted upstairs while OH vacumed downstairs. I dusted downstairs and sorted out bathroom and kitchen so it all looks clean and tidy. The bedding has been washed but can't go out until tomorrow because of the rain. Yes it has been raining here all night and all day so garden looks less like the Sahara than it did. First proper rain since March I think. So nice to have a day off from watering.

Went to pay balance of our holiday but when we got there we were told it may be cancelled as not many booked on coach. Bit angry really as already accepted a change of date due to lack of numbers on the original date booked. Good job we are both retired so dates don't mean much to us these days. Mind you I won't accept another change of either date or destination. If its cancelled I will have a refund and rethink the holiday this year.

We had leftover beef and veg made into a cottage pie for dinner tonight. Very tasty.

I have started a crochet blanket with oddments of wool from the CS but will probably donate it back to them to sell as we have all we need for ourselves.

A bit of good news is that OH has been offered a weeks tutoring next week which will help with the cashflow. He has officially retired but still works on an ad-hoc basis.

    Evening all

    Loulou - congrats!
BB and JG - hope you both feel better soon

    Glorious day here :)

This morning I had to go out and about doing H&S vetting, took my car as the bus was being used so got to sing to Lady Gaga at top of my voice whilst driving :D. This afternoon I visited one of the groups who are doing a project very near my flats.

I finished early as I had a Dr's appt re the vertigo. Dr said there isn't much he can suggest but he will refer me to ENT for further investigations. Waiting list in 3-6months though!

After Dr's I went to my parents, helped my mum in garden and then I took both my parents out for dinner in the local pub. Had a nice evening :)

    Have a good evening all

    Evening all

Has been a sunny day here today so got washing out on the line and it has dried nicely. Not done much else really as started the day with a horrific migraine which thankfully has eased now to a dull ache. Had a really stressful weekend so that probably explains it.

Congratulations Lou - I did read it on fb but afraid you have def blown your cover on here!!

Get well soon to Jackieg and BB (I agree you should go see the doctor re your legs)

Not much to say other than that, has anyone heard anything of Halight lately???

Enjoy the rest of your evening all

...Bread making on the agenda shortly,DH has decided he prefers his packed lunch made with it instead of barm cakes, which suits me really as I tend to buy them and freeze, but they are bulky in the freezer, and we always run out before the weeks is up anyway. They like to take 2 each as they are working long days at the mo-thats a lotta barms for a weeks worth! It means the bm will be on everyday, only tend to do every other day now.I spose I could dig out the Kenwood & make more than 1 at a time, but find it a bit of a faff...

Do you have a timer on your BM? Could you set it to make early hours so it is ready to take out when you get up, and use yesterday's for today's butties IYSWIM?
