Morning all.
Husband back to work! Older 2 at school.
Was supposed to take ds2 to toddler group but got back from Aldi & I couldn't be bothered to go.
Very wet here so the washing will be hung up in doors.
Older 2 have hot dogs for dinner. DH has wraps, toddler will have whatever & I'll have fish & veg.
I'm trying to use up the freezer before doing another proper shop.
I need to swish kitchen & bathroom. Also need to tidy up the childrens bedroom after half term.
I need to potty train toddler but he poops so often. He's already done 2 today & 1 of those went up his back! He's disgusting! :rotfl:
Right, well I'd better get on.
Love (((hugs))) & Spoons

Morning all,
Bread making on the agenda shortly,DH has decided he prefers his packed lunch made with it instead of barm cakes, which suits me really as I tend to buy them and freeze, but they are bulky in the freezer, and we always run out before the weeks is up anyway. They like to take 2 each as they are working long days at the mo-thats a lotta barms for a weeks worth! It means the bm will be on everyday, only tend to do every other day now.I spose I could dig out the Kenwood & make more than 1 at a time, but find it a bit of a faff.
Not sure whats for tea yet,I'll go and have a dig in the freezer.I'm not sure what time DS1 comes back from the stag do in Spain either, must look online after.
Its not very nice here-had a lot of rain over the weekend,so I want to finish the dress I did last week.I unpicked the neckline as it wasn't lying as flat as it should do.It shouldn't take long to sort tho'(she says hopefully...)
I've finished what housework I'm doing for today, apart from drying clothes and cooking. No plans to go out yet unless we go and see DNiece- DS2 hasnt had his baby practice this week :rotfl:,or me my baby fix.I know he was chatting to her last night on FB but dont know if they arranged anything.
Right best get off and do something-have a good day.x
BBird-hope the leg eases soon.

Morning all!
Just a quick one from me. Very grey and dull here today but have risked hanging the washing out to try and get it dried.
Got a letter from the travel insurance company over the weekend (which I opened last night when I got back from the weekend) they have now said that they won't pay out on my cancelled US trip which is a bit of a *grrrrrrrrrr* after them saying they would! One of those things it seems so I've hit the mindset of suck it up, keeping applying for jobs (13 apps in the last few days so hoping to start finding out from some of them soon!) and focus on starting to earn something to get me through the summer!
Good wishes to all those who are around today

Very quiet on here today!
Have been away in Norfolk for the past week - fabulous weather and very relaxing. Managed to finally finish knotting the sleeves on my jumper. Clearly not at all up to date on all your doings, so ((HUGS)) wherever needed!
Rain at long, long last, last night - lots of it! garden was absolutely gasping for it - and I'm sure the grass is getting green again and growing while I watch!
Most of the holiday washing is done, just one more load waiting to dry - and I'm certainly not complaining that it's too wet to go out.
BM nearly done. Friend coming to join us for supper so need to just quietly potter about tidying up.
Phase two of the church repair and redecoration project getting underway, so had the first meeting with the foreman and the scaffolders this morning. That'll be keeping me busy for the next seven or eight weeks.
Oh well, better get on. Take care whatever you're up to today.Resolution:

Back again
Rant Alert
Fuming with DH's employers (council) There has been a mix up on his tax code and he has overpaid tax for the last 2 months, the tax office have been very helpful and said that the council should have received the relevant paperwork but the payroll office says that they have not received notification so DH will be stung with extra tax next month as well - he is on low pay as it is and even though we have managed for the last two months it will be tougher going for another month because we have depleted our savings to pay bills. Shame we can't make them pay us interest.
this is the same council that has told anyone on over £21,500 pa that they have to take a 2% paycut and if they don't like it they will be sackedDH is well below that sort of wage so he won't be affected thank goodness.
And breatheOHMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Oooooo Lou have I missed that you are pregnant? Really sorry I must have missed your post? When are you due? xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
