    Afternoon All,

Been in bed most of the weekend feeling sorry for myself with the most awful cold, DS1 has it now, he went to school dosed up with lemsip capsules and strict instructions to ask to come home if he felt terrible, the wee soul lasted until 2pm, and when he asked to go home, the teacher said there wasn't much point as I would be finishing work and on my way to pick him up soon, I can't decide if I am happy or annoyed about that. Upshot was the wee soul burst into tears as soon as he sat in the car after school, and is in his bed fast asleep at the moment. I don't want to take the day off tomorrow, but as DH only earns when he's working, I think I will have to, and work Friday instead. :(

His room is almost finished now, I have been spending money, which feels a bit weird as I am a mean old cow :rotfl: but his room is looking tiptop and will be nice and stylish and hopefully last him until I chuck him out ;) DS2's next  but as it will only be for a few years, he's getting the cheap'n'cheerful makeover :D

OSwise I have been baking bread, washing clothes and cooking, no time for much else.

Hope you are all well, I have been lurking and keeping up with your news. Hester glad to hear the wedding plans are going well, not long now, I shall raise a glass for you that day, it is DS2's birthday party and our 13th wedding anniversary too.

Hugs spoons hi fives and kicks up the bum where required.

Lou is it possible your bees are miner bees? If so, then just let them beee (sorry :o ) they don't sting. In fact, if you have any bees, I would beg you to let them alone, as they are really struggling just now.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    Congrats Lou :)

I'm home! been home about an hour actually, but have cleaned out rabbit, put a wash on the line and another in the machine, done some surveys (cashed in £10 which i earnt in about 2 weeks v. pleased!) and started making our pack lunches for tomorrow.

Having some toast and a cuppa as OH didn't go to work till about 2:30 (and took pup so i'm lonely now!) and will be late in so don't know when dinner will happen!

Have booked wednesday off work as there will be more staff than desks and i'd like a day to potter around and sort out my spare room a bit more.

Ohh yeah, i got a t-shirt in the low spend freebies bit, it's arrived and it's really really nice. But might keep it for my sister for christmas.

going to clean the bathroom tonight, but thats it for me!
