I confess .. I am a horrible evil nasty person... I almost gave myself a heart attack laughing at how ugly my ex-sils baby will be (due Dec.) I shall endeavour to be a nicer person.. it is very wrong to be so mean... I shall try to be nicer.. I will... That must be on my frog list...

    Horrible horrible me!

    I am ashamed... almost....

Jojo.. you are mean too... :p

    You mean cat-splatter!!!! lol

If it turned out like that it would probably be 1000 times better than anticipated.. I'm thinking more a stinky dirty Golom with Primark tat clothing.. it will be the tat believe me.. which is also filthy and slapper looking...

I am still giggling!! I am evil... poor little baby.

Tis Dot.. looking very very much like Squeak!!!!! Alarmingly so!!! At least I know it isnt ugly HEEHEEHEEHEEE

I think these posts are just awful! I am a lurker of the flylady thread in the hopes I can get more organised and I am just appalled at what I am reading about an unborn baby! I know I am most likely going to be strung up for this as I know you help so, so many people on the boards Pigpen and usually have lovely posts to read, but this, this is just horrific. Seeing an unborn baby being spoke about in such a cold and heartless way is not something I expected to see on a housework thread! From someone who has been through the struggle of having a baby, I can assure you, all babies are perfect.

Sorry for speaking out of turn, I tried not to but these posts stuck in my head as I was washing my walls?!

I await the telling off for "not understanding" and thats okay because I am pretty glad I don't understand how its okay to speak of a baby in this way.

Aw dont worry pet - No telling off is required - only thing required to read them is a sense of humour.

Unfortunately the baby has two UGLY parents. Rude? Perhaps... Fact? Absolutley! So the chances are stacked against the little one unborn or not...

You should note Pigpen also said 'Poor baby' as she sympathises with the little tot :D

We try everyday to teach our children to be accepting of others, parents all over the land do...what chance do we stand when there are attitudes such as these in adults.

Maybe my sense of humour is lacking I admit. But this thread is offensive. I shall know not to "risk" peeking in again. I mean no offence its just how I personally feel about the things I have read in here.

beyond sympathy!! Poor little thing will need every ounce of good fortune it can get in life.... it isn't going to be blessed with anything positive given the parents who are both the most horrible people I could ever wish to run over in a tank!

I actually wouldn't be surprised if it ended up in 'the system'.. given the lack of any skills, life, parenting, social or otherwise of the parents... they are 2 of those people who should never have children. I am in fact quite saddened to think of the crappy start their children will have and have said for many years they shouldn't have any.

And how it is awful being glad my baby is looking like it's big sister and not ugly???

I find this thread offensive too.. I HATE housework :p

I teach my children to be accepting of people who are nice to them.. everyone else can go hang they aren't worth the carbon they are comprised of... sadly their aunt and husband are of the latter.

All babies aren't perfect.. I have 1 with cerebral palsy... she is a joy and a lovely lovely child but to society she isn't 'perfect'.. My middle son has brain damage from oxygen deprivation at birth so he too struggles but I love him all the same.. it changes who they are, it doesn't mean they aren't loved and cherished just the same as the others.. but they aren't 'normal'.. their hospital records state quite clearly they aren't.. parenting a child with disabilities means realising they are outside the bound of 'normal'..

This was a humourous conversation between adults which you are choosing to take completely out of context - it is not the example being set to our children and no where have any of us said so.

Feel free to contribute, but dont judge people on your unfounded assumptions.

Just while I have a swift spot of lunch before Sidney's next walk, I thought you might find this article which appeared in yesterday's Telegraph interesting:
    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/lifestyle/8564384/Keep-your-clutter-I-know-I-miss-mine.html
I laughed my socks off.... or I would have, if I wore socks!:rotfl:

I won't be contributing, this is not the thread for me, thank you though for the invite. I assure you I am not judging and I apologise if you feel I have. I will leave you ladies to it :)
