Maybe my sense of humour is lacking I admit. But this thread is offensive. I shall know not to "risk" peeking in again. I mean no offence its just how I personally feel about the things I have read in here.Spring_Time wrote: »I think these posts are just awful! I am a lurker of the flylady thread in the hopes I can get more organised and I am just appalled at what I am reading about an unborn baby! I know I am most likely going to be strung up for this as I know you help so, so many people on the boards Pigpen and usually have lovely posts to read, but this, this is just horrific. Seeing an unborn baby being spoke about in such a cold and heartless way is not something I expected to see on a housework thread! From someone who has been through the struggle of having a baby, I can assure you, all babies are perfect.

Darn and blast it! The recycling isn't until next Friday, so I now have two boxes stuffed full of the stuff and nowhere to put the rest of the week's, never mind next week! [stomps in from putting soggy bins back into the front garden].
Decided to move my microwave to the top of the freezer as a) I hardly ever use the thing and b) the fishes are now using the microwave plug socket for their pump and light. Gave it a quick wiperound whilst I was there and it was pretty much clean already. I wonder what should be put there instead?
Rescued a forgotten bunch of spider plant babies that were sitting at the back of the top shelf and shoved them out into the daylight for a bit of photosynthesis.
WM sitting waiting for minion to dump her school things in there tonight.
Kettle's on, 60 minute makeover's on telly and I'm surrounded by snoring cats yet again.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
Hello all! I took a break over half-term and let the house resume pig-sty status, then ground back into action with the kitchen Monday, the bathroom Wed - rather forced by ds practicing projectile vomiting & 'wiping it up' - yerch!. Today I've got the rest of the house sorted - just in time for it to be trashed over the weekend.
Feels lovely now though - & I feel so virtuous! Back on the Flylady wagon next week.
Have a great weekend everyone.0 -

Flounced?
I pointed it out politely that I find such speak about an innocent unborn baby offensive. I then said I would leave you guys to it as this is obviously not the thread for me. That is flouncing?!
Well now I am judging, yes. I judge the attitude of some on this thread to be cruel, mean, offensive and unwelcoming. Of course the "clique" ( and believe me, it comes across that way to me as a new poster) will disagree but honestly that really does not matter to me, what matters is that I will never be the sort of person to speak about an unborn child in the manner you did. It was disgusting.0
