O-M-G!!!!
I went to pick DD1 (and all her stuff) from Uni today. Where the hell did all that lot come from!! When I got there, it was only half packed aswell. She was supposed to be packing for the last 2 days, so I don't know what she has been faffing about doing then
we were doing well here - really felt like we were getting somewhere. now it feels like we are back to square oneShe has some SERIOUS sorting (and chucking) to do. DD2 has 2 exams tomorrow, then 2 next week, and she is finished. They can spend all day upstairs then , and not come out til it's done!
It has worn me out, and got me down a bit. I don't know where to start now, and it has been a busy week (will be a busy weekend too)
On the plus side - DW loaded & put on, a few bits bought from Mr T's (including printer paper, which was totally out - had to use kids drawing paper yesterday!) and the old bed frame & shelf unit have been picked up by a friend :j We pick up the sofa bed tomorrow (hopefully - DH had to go back to cardiff tonight for tomorrow - says he will probably have a different job by the time he gets home! - but that's another story) DD1 is sleeping on the LR floor tonight
I need to get my @r$e in gear, but have a Teddy Bears Picnic tomorrow to attend (fingers crossed for the weather please!). Art on Saturday & Race for Life on Sunday. Ho hum - maybe next week I will get somthing done...
Peter Kay was good last nightWe needed a laugh - it was nice to spend an evening with DH for a change
It was a late night though - maybe that is why i am so tired (and grumpy!)
I am not posting a list, 'cos i haven't crossed anything off0 -
I Sympathise GoodIntentions..... DD1 came home from uni on Sunday....WM been running ever since....have only just got her bags/boxes (so many!) emptied.0

Where are my manners!?
Max - glad to hear you are on the mend. Take it easy.
List-less - I often click on 'preview post' before i submit, to see if I have made any boo-boos
AJ - it's probably stress - and the shock of the make-up trial!! Every bride wants to look natural & fresh & glowing - so why do they make you up like a drag queen :rotfl::rotfl:I remember that feeling!
Sammi - (((big hugs))) for you & DD - I hope you get it sorted soon.
Hugs & spoons for anyone else that needs them0 -

Hugs to ajmoney - I had a period of time just before our wedding where I felt exactly the same - it's probably all of the planning stress. When I went in for my last dress fitting I wasn't excited at all, and every little thing was getting on top of me. Sending hugs your way.
Thanks sexy I have been like this since just before the dress fitting. Suddenly felt exhausted on the way to it and asked my mum if it was bad that I just couldn't be bothered. I felt terrible that I wasn't excited about my fitting, it has been my worry all along that I wouldn't like the dress when I went back so that didn't help. I don't really have anyone to talk to about it all, I have spoken to OH but I don't want him to worry so have just been venting here and on our July wedding thread. It is reassuring to hear from others and I have been chatting to my cousin and best friend on fb and they had the same make up experiences, hopefully that will get sorted next week. We have so little to do so that probably isn't helping, in 30 days time it won't matter as I will be a Mrs!
I have more me time tomorrow, the only bit of the lists that I am managing, I may try and run the vacuum around too so I can post here.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

Weirdly you do sometimes see beautiful kids with incredibly ugly parents. Or is it just the contrast that makes them look that way?0 -

You don't have to explain - we have seen the pictures of her hairdon't....
Are you expecting the baby to come out looking a bit like this, or is that a bit too optimistic?
I bet you laughed.
Bad Piggers!
But me, mean? How could you? Everyone knows I am sweetness and light personified! [takes a swipe at those giggling in the back] I couldn't possibly have 3 cats that believe their names are double barrelled with 'wellyoushouldn'thavebeengettingundermyfeetthen'...
I really should go to bed now, or I'm going to raid the fridge of what little food remains in it.
Night all!I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0
