I'd run Combofix. It's an advanced malware/rootkit removal tool. I'll ask Alienrik if he'll be kind enough to check the log if you choose to run this.

First you'll have to temporarily disable the Windows firewall & all security products, including Adaware and Avast. I know, sounds scary right!

Russ...I'm wacked...redbull isn't working anymore and I need a couple of matchsticks to keep my eyelids open...can I continue this tomorrow morning?

I'm back on the desktop so it's working better but appreciate it's not fixed...You've been so very helpful:beer: and i'm very very grateful. I don't want to keep you awake either:o. I'm assuming it'll be okay to leave the pc til tmrw and I can pick up where we left off...would that be ok?

Of course haha, it's later than I meant to stay up for sure. No worries for the help. It would be ideal to run a long Dr Web scan if you weren't already too tired, but just leave it alone and come back in the day.

Tomorrow it'd be a good idea to:

    1. run combofix and post the log
    2. update Malwarebytes, and run a FULL scan and post the log
    3. Rerun tdsskiller, hitmanpro, aswMBR just to see what they report
    4. Run a full scan with Dr Web https://www.freedrweb.com/download+cureit/gr/?lng=en (it'll do a quick scan by default, so have to stop it and change it to a LONG full scan, that'll take hours)
