Anyone getting a state pension by time he is going to retire will be getting barely anything i think. I'm glad I have a work pension tbh. You'll Probabaly have to die of old age before you can qualify.

I will get him to get one of those thank you Gally Girl.

OH actually took us all out yesterday, it was very nice as he normally doesn't like coming out and leaving the farm as there is always something to do.
We went to a vintage car show in Llanelli cost us £50 in total mind you!! I may as well tear up spreadsheets (except there on computer)

i don't know whats wrong with me, just made pizza dough with DS and I'm actually considering cleaning the bathroom, not like me at all. i hate cooking and cleaning. It does help that DS loves mixing anything. Just going to check bank accounts. I'm desperate to make an overpayment this month.
The man that bought our truck is coming up to get it tomoz so we will have the cash for the car then. Will have to sit down and work out how much goes back in savings and how much of my mortgage. I'm tempted to pay a £1000 and put less back in the savings.

  • Soory I have been away a while. I changed our internet from Sky to o2 and we where cut off. I have £1200 in bank account waiting to pay off my mortgage woohoo! I still haven't changed OH name over to the child benfit as to be honest I don't think I can trust him not to spend it on himself. He has gone a bit mad on the new car, buying bits for it etc. We got it to save money but hes just been spending loads on it (£600ish) and he now wnats it remapped on a plus it is more fuel efficient and I have been down to my mam without having to worry to much.

I have loads to do this week. SS is having a b'day party next saturday and I have to organise party bags. We don't know how many children are coming as his mam insisted on doing the invites and she didn't give them any contact details for us, or address and I have no idea who they are, where they live. SS gave out 10 invites and he has a few cousins coming as well so I was thinking 20 bags incase they bring siblings.

Does any one have any ideas for cheap bags for approx 20 7yr olds???

Am loving your diary and have now subscribed so look forward to following your progress!
My partner used to have an L200 Animal and it was a money guzzling demon so know how you feel! Am sure you will be noticing bid differences in cost with your new vehicle!

I hate getting new cars for this reason. he will stop eventually. I have refused to help him pay for it. All on his own back (or credit card) ha
TBH he doesn't really spend that much money over places, he rarely drinks and all the dvd/music he buys is at car boot sales or ebay.

It just so much at once. The £40 gear knob could have waited

  • def need to upp the overpayments now. things aren't looking good in work. Expecting it to close down on 1st april 2013. this is quite a a good bit of notice i suppose. Most staff will be transferring it to the 'new' company but as it will be an amalgamation of 3 companies, every one will be moved around and no one is to have a specialism anymore. The more i hear the less i think i will want to stay. And knowing the way they work there won't be any redundancies as they will just make it so you don't want to stay.

Pooh!! I don't want to leave been working here for 14years!!1

  • just rang NRAM and paid another £400 off. I was hoping it would make me feel a bit better, but i still feel quite down. Not sure why I am over tired we have mice running around in the attic and the noise kept me up until 4.

NRAm are only going annual statements now such a pain in the bottom. although the lady on the phone said that if everytime I ring up to make a overpayment I ask for confirmation that's free and will show my balance.

DS starts nursery next week so we have been potty training, he's doing really well only had accidents on the first day!! He likes going outside but the wind changed yesterday and it all went down his leg, he wasn't impressed
