willing2learn - check your emails to see if anything has come through. Then log into your Travelodge and see if there are any bookings showing. If you have online banking check if any payments have gone through. If still no joy, contact Travelodge directly to see if your bookings have gone through.

i did this but didn't think it booked so went in to book again was more expensive, so booked some more rooms for week before.

    ended up with 2 bookings.

have cancelled and are waiting for reply so won't be charged.

no money has gone out of my account yet anyway think a message flashed up saying they don;t take until you go.

I would check this out thoroughly. The money is usually (if not always) taken from the account immediately and not when you turn up at the hotel. This is where TL differs from most other hotel chains.

Please let us know the result when TL contact you in reply. thanks.

sorted now, the room wasn't available, now staying elsewhere. Travelodge staff very helpful though and will stay there again. :)

I booked a room in the last sale and they took upto two weeks to take the money from my bank account which was strange, however it was before I stayed in the hotel.
  • Hi, my name is Bonnie and I just found this forum. Maybe you can help me. I am going to visit London in October and am planning to see if I can get in on the sale coming up this week.

However, I know that there is a brand new Travelodge opening in September near Cricklewood. Should I wait for that one to open? Do they usually offer good deals when they first open up?
    Thanks

    Welcome to MSE Marie

This is an old thread and the really cheap sale items have all gone now.
Usually the rates are cheaper when a new travelodge opens but it is normally possible to book long before the hotel actually opens for business.

The best value is had by booking ahead unless travelodge decide to have another sale.

New thread for a new sale starting this week. I'll bump the thread so it's easier to find too. :j
