  • Also wondering if i should take two of the dates at £79 and £99....as i need to be up there and these are relatively cheap prices in a hotel I want (and already have one night at £32 booked)......ie should i take them and not lose them, or shoudl i wait to see if any ore offers.

Central london likely to get that many sale prices?

    Oh decisions! lol!

The problem is-- if you try booking for 2 people in a room or a family room the 10.00 doesn't apply frustrating as your paying for the ROOM not the people in it!!

Does anyone know how to book two nights in a hotel? I want two nights, (1st night is £75 and the second is £62...) but when i request 2 nights it brings up the standard rate (not the saver one) Do i need to book one night at a time to get these prices?

I found my answer a few posts back, shouldve read properly before posting....

Do you realize how offensive that term is ?

It originated from an offensive term, but these days is almost entirely re-purposed for use as a non offensive, often self deprecating statement.

A quick search finds the following meaning

    –noun
    1.
an awkward, clumsy, or eccentric person.

My apologies if you thought I used the term in a derogatory way to others.

I have tried booking and could find a few £15 rooms...as soon as I put 2 Adults or 2 Adults and 1 child the price jumped to £25 though. That means a single person can take a family room (and leave none for families) for the same price. Makes no sense :(

As far as I know you have to book each night separately.

Thats what i had to do when I stayed at Newcastle last week.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

I dont really understand this either as I was able to book a family room for 3 adults and also a family room for 2 adults (want separate beds) at £10 each regardless of the number of people in a room.

Maybe its just the website playing up?

Here to learn and pass on my experiences.
Had a total of £8200 of debt written off due to harassment during 2010 and 2012.

Hijacking the thread a bit for some advice!

I have a £10 sale room in London but then needed the Sat night as well as Sun at the same hotel so booked a different travelodge £61 total for a Sat and Sun - in a previous sale. That was the cheapest room I could find on a Sat in August.

I thought I could cancel my £10 Sun booking at the other travelodge but do have a friend who needs a room with her 2 girls (both under 15) This is a trusted person as I'd never risk selling or giving a room onto people I don't know well.

Do you think she will be ok as booking is in my name for 1 but is a family room. I can give her a copy of my booking - just thinking they will need to book 3 in for the health and safety side in case of a fire/drill?

Don't want to cause reception hassle and equally my friend - but seems a shame to cancel a room when someone could use it.

    Thanks :)
