Are these the people you refer to?

If so, once again, what is your evidence that they are spamming here? And why would they?
A quiz is more fun though

Thats one user with 16 user names promoting Jellyfish affiliate links how can that be missed ?
I would have thought that the Board Guide would have learned from the magsite spam uncovered by competitionscafe0 -
Very interesting, and I'll have a look at this at more leisure later on tomorrow.
To be fair though, if they are "invading" - they appear to be doing so in areas of MSE that I have never ever read - and I suspect many don't read.
That's the nub of it, isn't it? MSE is so large these days that people don't cover much more than their own personal areas.
You seem to have it in for the BGs a bit too, but these are unpaid folk who wouldn't necessarily pick up on this sort of thing when they "pop in" or whatever they do, to tidy up. They are not full time policemen.
In those circumstances, would it not have been kinder to send your suspicions to Abuse, so that something could have been done?0 -
I agree with Edna, good work there, if I am suspicious and I have caught quite a few out before I just reported them along with relevant threads, I even got thanked once by a spammer, lol who owned up and fair cop etc.0

Favourite words and phrases from the spamming pond life:...but worth it if it works out free or close to it!Avail of...
Feel free to add more!0 -
We also have a poster named john1975 who judging by his posting counting is a spammer...
You might want to have a look back to see who started this very thread, old friend?
Might be an idea to get the whole content of this thread moved across to a new one in the circumstances? If he and his posts get deleted at some point, this will also all be lost as he has the first post!0 -
Thanks I did mention above "EDIT Oh dear its the OP, lol." admittedly after I posted first

WoW you guys need to get out more, all my freebies i have posted i found on !!!!!!.uk which i am a member of their newsletter.
i wish i owned the above domain name/s  :rotfl:0 -
LOL but so do you, you been online longer than I have. Too much of a coincidence all these domain names you keep posting are owned by the same person, one of them is now added to the web filter by looks of it to block it
Funny its always spammers that come up with "you need to get out more" or "get a life"0 -
LOL "Too much of a coincidence"
i dont know why i need to explain myself to troublemakers but so everyone else knows i get free - stuff .co.uk newsletter 2 to 3 times a week with freebie offers i search on MSE to see if the freebie has been posted if not i make a post, so if you are banning domain names that are owned by the same person ok but saying i own the domain name/s because i didnt find it on MSE when doing a search thats just stupid0 -
...i dont know why i need to explain myself to troublemakers...
The fact that the very first reaction you make to this is to describe the one person, Poppycat, who does more individually than anyone else to help keep MSE free of spammers and scamsters, as a "troublemaker" possibly says more about you than anyone else john?0
