Hi all,
i just like to point out there is a freebie/s being posted on MSE and other freebie forums that are scams to collect emails and get google ads clicks and know paypal money etc
freekeyring dot com
freebeermug dot com
freestressball dot com
bobbleheadies dot com
i have made a complained to google adsense and ask all MSE users that send off for the freebies to complainn using the email adsense-support@google.com there google adsense id is pub-6122501907414420 included this when you email google so at least they dont get any money from google and hopely this will stop them setting up more freebie scam sites.
if you have send a paypal payment for the freekeyring site email paypal now to complain do not email freekeyring site.
Also i have send a complained to the hosting company hosting the sites and you can too etc

Good idea, I'll do that. I'm also worried about the Pretty Polly one. The OP is making them out to only cost the price of standard text when in fact others have said it costs £1. Plus it seems they often get you to text them back if you haven't put your request in the right format, so could be charging twice.I've been lucky, I'll be lucky again. ~ Bette Davis0

i rang up 3 as soon as id made teh text and qwas told that it had only taken one of my free texts included in my price plan and no other money. all i was saying in my post was that was what happened to me, i wasnt trying to 'make out' anything or lie to anyone, why would i? i dont own any pretty polly stock or have any vested interest in gettign people to apply for thsi freebie so whyt would i try to 'make out' [lie] about anything?:T The best things in life are FREE! :T0 -
I dont think free keyring is a scam website, Ok i have had a few problems with my order but I emailed and they replied straight away apologising profusley. The other 3 sites are scams but I dont believe that Freekeyring is. please be careful when accusing sites of this. call me naive but if my order hasnt arrived by the date promised to me by the owner of the business I may change my thoughts but for now i believe my order will arrive.Need to start saving :eek:0

Sorry fairy_tinkerbell but freekeyring site is owned by the same guy/people who run the other sites its just that they have workout another way of scamming money of you, ok they given you a date they are just wasting time so they know there paypal account will be emply after this date so when you make the complained to paypal all the money is gone.
Also if you do get a refund think about how many people who send them £1 who forget to complain or think its only a £1 thats 1000s someone having a great christmas this year!!!0 -
have you done research into this to check that this is all correct???Need to start saving :eek:0

I don't think the sites are all owned by the same people (although I think two of them may possibly be)........

The two sites above look like they may be linked. Registered same day through a proxy.

These two don't look linked to each other, or the previous two. I've edited out the street number/postcode of these two for privacy.
It's unusual for spammers/scammers to have their name/address publically available. The first two sites look typical of a scam registration (using a proxy so you can't find their details). How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

People here made the connection between them all because many of these threads were started by the poster "ryan1183" as in:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=2978677#post2978677
and it was wondered whether it was the same Ryan Fisher who owns that Bobblehead site.0
