Why not have a 'preparing for festivities' thread, tips on money saving, bargains and preparation so that we don't run round like headless chickens.
Or a 'things I found the most useful for Christmas and Winter Festivities' thingy.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

I think it should stay, but maybe also incoperate all holidays and occasions, easter, halloween, anniversaries, birthdays ect.
Then have one main board for the lot of it, everyone will know straight where to come for inspiration for everything, and we can all also keep a log of things we have bought during the year for next xmas.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0 -

what she said
organizedchristmas manage to sustain a healthy and active forum for 12 months of the year, and in the pre christmas board days, the OS christmas board showed that there was interest in festivities all year round (im not the only obsessed one :snow_laug )
that said, as wanty points out, it would be good to have a 'one stop shop' for all things to do with celebrations, instead of having a bit in the marriages forum, a bit in OS, and a bit in DT.know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -

Could we have a gardening tips board? We love gardening, all sorts but not brilliant. Never know what time of year to prune things, what to do with cuttings/ how to take cuttings, how to get the best out of the veggie plot, best and cheapest way of growing/making things etc. Pleeeaaaase?0

A gardening one is needed, must be lots of us out there who love gardening and many more who would love to try it. So many ways to save, roll on spring
And yes keep this board but make it for all celebrations, birthdays etc.0
