Celebrate
MY lessons learnt from this whole saga
1. check grabbit board everyday without fail,
2. check grabbit board several times a day
3. check all threads again even ones where you think the glitch has finished (gardening one hasn't in some areas)
4. get a baby sitter whatever the time, drop everything and GO GO GO!
5.Don't leave it to the morning:(
6. remember to take a mobile phone and once glitch confirmed in your store ring every friend relative neighbour you can think of!:A:A
7. grab as much as you can as quickly a syou can-doesn't matter how stupid you look , don't think i'll go back later-may have been fixed by then.;)
8. Check photos on other threads like HUKD:D may inspire you to be braver and get more than you would have done otherwise
9. Pray that the tesco glitch fairy spreads her fairy dust again on us again tomorrow :T:T:T
Thoroughly agree with the above Celebrate. As soon as I saw this glitch, coat was on, electronic cigarette in hand, car keys and purse and I was out the door so fast whilst shouting to my son "I may be a while, record BGT for me":rotfl:Then when I got back my OH made me do an about turn and go back to T's with him, it was truly hilarious in our house last night!!Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -
Thanks everybody
I just do not want to be label as immoral.
I only bought these for my family , not selling.
And I din mean to brag as well, I bought 1 of every glitch item that I can find, because that's what I need.
I m just hormonal I guess0 -
Seems to be fixed online for my locals - in fact, it appears they've removed the promotion and lowered the prices on the individual items by 20% now. I'd hazard a guess and say that the formula used to calculate the reduction for the promotion was inputted the wrong way around (hence selling at 20% rather than reducing by 20%). At the moment, I reckon there are probably a few stores that still haven't manually updated their systems to over-ride the promotion. Probably worth checking your local via .com first - if you see incorrect prices still, might be worth wandering down and seeing if you can grab anything. It always takes HO time to get these types of issues fixed nationally. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

You are asking us to tell you its ok.... on a deals website!
If you feel bad then just take the stuff back and get your money back. Its how you feel inside and clearly you are struggling with it.
I learnt years ago that if something makes me question myself then don't do it. I went and got a knife set for me and a pan set for my Mother. I don't feel bad as I spend a fortune in Tesco so they have certainly had plenty of profit from me.
On Monday I found a mobile phone at an open day. I asked around and the owner was found. That gave me good karma. If I had kept it I would be feeling wrong inside and life is just too short for that.

Pffft! You're not wrong or immoral. You simply went into stores and bought items at the prices they scanned through at. The stores did not have to sell those items to you. We're not talking the little corner shop here - we're talking a major public limited company. They rip us off every single day - and I'm not just talking about the customers in their stores. Read up on how Tesco treats their suppliers, etc, then ask yourself again if you feel that you're immoral. Life's not black and white - there are grey areas too.

Love it.
It says Gaddafi is a shareholder in Tesco.

I have just telephone CS now, the lady there said it was at the discretion of the manager re DTD but did agree they should refund money if not stopped at the till, as they have the right to refuse any sale. However, once paid for, it is too late. Am on my way to see manager now, is it correct about managers discretion?? anyone know? ThanksExpect nothing and you wont be disappointed0

hi angelina,
you are right i am asking people to justify my feeling.
i am feeling totally elated when i bought the glitch gardening products.
but this morning they all gave me a good told off for taking advantage of tesco. and they said thats stealing from tehir point of view.
my happiness diminished instantly and i start questioning myself : am i wrong?
thing is, i do not feel a shred of regret when i bought those glitch items , and i feel is RIGHT, and thats why is so wrong, because the people who critisized my action are my bosses, who i looked up to , and i respect their opinion
i do not want to argue that they earned TONS more than me , so they do not feel the need of taking advantage of this glitch.
all in all, i am still looking up this thread whenever i can to be alert of any possible glitch, i do not want to say this , but with my income ,i got lots more than i normally can. i really appreciate all the glitches thats been listed.
thanks0 -
Anyone who is feling 'bad' or being accused of stealing from from Mr T's, remember all the times customers are overcharged by Tesco, are Tesco's then stealing from us, the customer?????0
