They are a scam, water is a infinite source.

How is it ? It hasn't rained properly in weeks and the lakes / reserves will not last forever if people keep using them.
Where do you think this endless supply of clean safe drinking water comes from ?

Please do tell us because I am quite sure there are millions of people who would love to know..seeing as the death rate from lack of water or lack of clean water is really really high world wide.

You would be a hero of the modern time if you could sort that out.

I love having a meter here, for us. I choose to be careful with water and I consequently pay less than many others. I feel very sorry for the others in this village who don`t have meters and who are paying 3 to 4 times what I pay. Op suck it and see, you may very well be pleasantly surprised

It is certainly not an infinite resource here, where I live. The wheat farmers around here are wringing their hands in despair at the lack of rain and every single person in the country will be paying, in a roundabout way, for the forthcoming grain shortage. Priority will have to be given to farmers for irrigation and not to joe blogs for watering his lawn or washing his car

I really wish that I couldn't "thank" you for that post and that it was not true, however as we both know things are going to get far worse for the farmers before it can even begin to get better (if even possible seeing as how many are going under every month).
It will have a massive knock on effect as it will mean not only local people being on water shortage but food prices going up etc etc.

if only water was an infinite resource, the whole world would look much different.

Great post...and I am sad to say that...(hope you know what I mean ? )
