No i live with my other half and son. I pay the bills though.
you know what they say about assumptions

You seem to be very woried about something that should have a negligible effect on your bill.
Have you worked out your current water consumption or estimated water consumption for the new property? have you seen the Rv of the new property? how much more worse off do you think you will be?
You may be upset about the situation, but to be niggled with people on here when they have given you an answer isnt helping you or anyone else.
You asked a question and were given an answer, you didnt ask for a comforting arm around your shoulder as well. Im sorry you dont like what you are reading, but unfortunately what the water board are doing is what they and the government want.
Surely the only way it would work out significantly more expensive for you to have a meter is if you use large amounts of water?

OP, this remains just idle speculation, as you don't have any options. If there is already a meter installed, you will be on metered billing. End of.

I pay the bills but as a family man i always say we, never say I.

Im not very upset about the situation, i just needed clarity of where i stand...its like buying something without knowing how much you will pay. But yes i am in process of comparing. I wasnt aware of this when we bought the house so would have questioned it then if i had known.

Of course i didnt ask for a comforting arm or stupid immature responses but some people have nothing better than post stupid comments which can be avoided - Give an answer and thats IT nothing else.

I felt Gothicfairy gave an answer and that was the end of this conversation as far as im concerned. Getting a snidy comment such as one from moonrakerz will mean your asking for trouble....Keep comments to yourself, just answer the question or dont bother replying - simple!!

I am aware of that??? See the above posts its been answered.

Overall thanks to everyone who answered my question - thats all that was required.

perhaps if your original answer had been more helpful or even amusing you may have got a different response, as far as I can see you got exactly the response you asked for.

I have to wonder if you did not understand the original post why did you post a reply?

I feel the opposite OP. I can't have a water meter so have to pay an assessed rate which is more than I was paying on a meter in my last house. And that for a long time was with three of us, me and two teens. Now it's just two of us in a different house and the bill has gone up. So you may be pleasantly surprised.

You can always opt out if you have a meter and get your water from a rain butt.
