No idea what meadowsweet looks like must google that one. I also didnt know that you could use mountain ash berries. Strangely enough I just wondered that last night when out walking the trees around here are laden at the moment with berries.
I knew what I wanted to be when I left school and like Cheery says - it was my passion, strangely so as I had never been further than Somerset for holidays but my passion was travel (I was an anorak who collected holiday brochures as a hobby and read loads of travel books, watched travel programmes etc), history and people so I figured what better way to earn a living than be a holiday courier as they were called in those days. That is the person who walks around with an umbrella sprouting lyrical about the buildings and the history of the city. Sadly overtaken by the current holiday reps. Would still love to do that but when I went to the careers office - after laughing at me - the man told me I was too young (had to be 21) and sent me for an interview at a greengrocers (turned out to be the best job I have ever done) whilst sending my friend - who wanted to be a civil servant to a travel agents for an interview. Go figure that one. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Cheri that is such a shame, at school I wanted to be an accountant, don't ask me why I just did (Its a noble profession) I even dropped all sciences and did only business/economic subjects and indeed at 17 went to uni to do an accounting degree
Funny old world isn't it
All I know about when I grow up (people grow up?) that I want to do something *anything* with flowers but no one told me I could do it for a job and my mum still believes no one CAN do it for a job - lol
squizz - I'm doubtful, smells nice meadowsweet, but not convinced it will taste nice...................
Cheri with me meadowsweet is all over the moorland ditches etc creamy fluffy flat headed flower of a perennial plant dark green foliage, smells awesome.
One of the ancient strewing herbs used by the druids - I think, or did I make that up, either way sounds quite interesting!Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Love cabbage, so much can be done. I have a lovely carribean recipe somewhere for smothered cabbage, must look it out.
Speaking of owls, we were playing in the small woods with Moo throwing sticks tonight and when Mr C threw a stick up into the trees there was a loud commotion and an owl flew out of the tree at us. Poor thing must have got a right fright. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. WOW to the Red Kite, how lovely :T:T:T
Not sure I should be in here with you perfectionists! I never was worried in the Education field, I just did my best which is all my Mum expected from me, so I didn't disappoint! However, in my working life it has to be done properly and I have very high standards that people tell me are unreasonable!
Glad Gamer Boy got good results, but it is a shame he isn't happy with them.:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
