morning all, its pretty chilly here today. I bought thick fleece lined tights from Primark and am now wishing I'd put them on instead of normal ones. Well done on the house sale KK. LT, how's the organising going for the move?CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. I'm 'north of the border' today and it was seriously blustery on the M8 last night.
May be a bit blowy for gardening. Have a good day
Hmm me thinks the same - all ferries cancelled first thing - ergh. Paperwork and then into town to meet dd at 4.30 - but I may go in earlier and do a bit of hort work - got a few things to write up and I can do that in a cosy office.
Keep warm!!!! ND DON'T BLOW AWAY!unixgirluk wrote: »morning all, its pretty chilly here today. I bought thick fleece lined tights from Primark and am now wishing I'd put them on instead of normal ones. Well done on the house sale KK. LT, how's the organising going for the move?

OK money
Rent paid woo hoo - we won't be out on our ear in December
- wtfc came into the bank and I put the remenants of the expenses money in yesterday so we were OK and I've £100 in the account (overdraft obviously)
Only £30 in the other account but £3 co-op divvy in = need make better use of my card! I often forget it - bad girl that I am
CC - one is £150 left on the balance - the other I need to call about forgot to do that yesterday and I do need to check that.
Got eggs to drop off £2 - woo hoo
Today not sure if I'll do any 'paid' work gardening appears to be a bit blowy but that might be different in town - I'll take my stuff and maybe do a hour at the town house with the lovely walled garden!
HM dinner for ds as he's not going to the cinema
DD and I *may* go out for tea - makes alot more sense than driving in and out and in and out again (which will cost £12) so we'll treat ourselves for tea
Ds tea made (turkey and cous cous)
Hens fed a nice warm brekkie
Eggs to collect later
Bit work on slow food stuff
Write up hort work later if in town and grab a nice warm office for half an hour and a nice cuppa
Get diary straight for next week I'm invigilating so my week is really full
Have a look at the better deal for going to inverness on Monday after flight gets in dunno if there is a bus or not - if not a car hire is maybe less than a taxi?
Think about what to do with the remenants oif 26 cabbages which are in various states of manglation in the garden after/due to the gales which are *sigh* on going
DW on and needs emptied
HC about to go on later but might leave it til the cheap leccy
Invoice to print for garden lady (4 hours) - can hand that in if I go in today
Have a lovely shower and sparkle a bit and maybe wrap up warm!
Walk the dog - probably here if I go out after lunch
Have a lovely HM lunch with ds before I disappear
Make up a parcel or two to go in the mail - fun not ebay/amazon!Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

I'm glad you're not going to be out on your ear! The money is sounding very slightly less squeaky, but still tough. And you're going to the cinema! What are you going to see? I'm just looking forward to seeing HP 7/2 when my amazon parcel arrives tomorrow! Saw it in the summer (in London, where the ticket seat cost twice what the DVD costs) but I love watching it over, especially when I'm not too well like now, and I adore the background stuff on some films, HP among them.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Its not out till tomorrow, Pippi, but I've heard rumours about it being withdrawn after Christmas, so best get a wiggle on!
Ooh, looked at your link. Sissy Spacek! She of Coalminer's Daughter and Missing ... I love Sissy Spacek! Enjoy xxx2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
enjoy your girls night out with DD.
Uni organising is going as follows for move:
Mrs LT - sorts out kitchen and gives two boxes/bags to charity of much loved but not often used things including cups
Mr LT - buys two new cups last night because we can have nice drinks in them (we still have cups in the house just less) and proposes that we buy some more like them.
Mrs LT - silently fumes in the corner and suggests that we don't actually buy any more until AFTER we've moved!
Mr LT - looks like he's been slapped by a smoked kipper and been thoroughly rejected and unappreciated by Mrs LT.
we could be in for a 'long' organisation/moving process.0 -
Oh dear lt - oh dear indeed - he does mean well and is clearly excited but not really joined up thinking eh?
Off to look at my list again and then do an invoice I know i need to do one.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
