In 8 weeks Rodders has kept us up for 5 nights, 4 of them when OH has been here. As I get very grumpy without sleep he has chosen to get up with him and leave me to sleep:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0

Humfph. just lost my longish rambling post
So, thanks for all your kind thoughts, will try and take things easy. Need to get driving tomorrow as invigilating Thursday and Friday this week, and the college is 8 miles away. Don't suppose that constitutes taking things easy, does it....:o:o
Need to get to bed, see you all tomorrow.
DH is out observing tonight, first clear night he's had for ages!!! No doubt he will come home freezing and want a cuddle:eek: It's usually me with the frozen feet, so it will make a change!!;)
Night, night all

Maty I'm sure puppy will settle, poor you!
Lt wearing a hat here, removals, I phoned a few local companies and compared notes, email them if you can't phone and give a rough idea of size/boxes furniture (estimate it) and then i bartered between them. Id also price up a van ( you can drive unto a Luton on a licence) and think of area chums who might be bribed and compare.
Morning all, all schools closed here, well most of them.
Off to check banks etc, slept in as no bus run woke at 9am

LT, I moved house last year, in the south of England, between towns about 20 miles apart - the contents of a 3 bed semi with garage. It cost about £650 - I got 3 quotes, and that was the cheapest from the most professional sounding - there was one guy cheaper, a bit, but he sounded off.
Pippi, you had to go without lunch? Whats the usual situation like that?
Keiss - does your OH have a fave area/topic to observe, planets and whatnot, or any kind of clear patch of sky? I think it'll be next year now before I join a local Astronomy Society...
2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Great advice up there KC -
I know going witout lunch - I hadn't really considered such folk even existed.
Now today - I've done hte banks - ok i've still about £100 to find for the rent but I got my plane expenses yesterday (£160 paid on cc) and I can put that straight into the bank and pay the cc part of it at the end of the month (if not before) and I get quidco yay

Need check ebay and get more coir little jiffy pot thingmys

Phone a chap back and arrange to meet up about gardening classes he missed and give him the notes talk them through with him
Ok a bit of adminy things and a bit of home things - nice combination of stuff I think. Pottery kind of a work day - I think I like working part time, I can fit life things in too. I'm not a very efficient 'full time' employee - I think I'm better with part time - I feel as if I can do that well, rather than charging around trying to fit life into a f/t job too but I know I'm lucky I don't mind being poor and prefer this.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

I really am not complaining, I think he has been brilliant & we usually know what disturbs him in the night
Good luck to Kittikins & LT with moving, it can be so stressful but so worth it!
