Morning and thank you so much. Been awake for hours :( it must be an age thing :)

Pippi, hope that the wind is settled up there now. Tried posting a comment on your recycle page on FB about those chairs. They look fab. I think that job would be great but I probably would end up with half the stock in my house.

  • OK today a womble day - meeting up with another colleague up here and making a plan for events into the new year and finding out lots of stuff.

    Before that - banks etc!

Hello to both of you - I hpe you have a great day Mrs M - Its wierd here today - no wind. Up and down rain (ie not sideways ninja rain).

    Very odd.

And the job - yup I've to stop myself taking everything home....................

    **waves back**

Yep, when stuff is of that kind of quality, I'd be tempted too.

"Ninja rain" :rotfl: I love the way you put things, Pippi, its brilliant.

    Hello all,

Sorry been AWOL for a bit.
I was getting ready for my first Xmas fair on Sunday, then recovering from it!

What a blowy time you have had up by you Pippi, glad it has calmed down. The wind seems to have reached here now, but nowhere near as strong, though rather noisy with all the trees around. Most have lost their leaves now, so less likelyhood of them being blown over...I hope!

Love the ninja rain...much better than just saying sideways rain...indicates the strength and leathal-ness (if there is such a word!). :o

Enjoyed the fair, made £67, so not too bad. Had much fewer items than planned as hadn't been able to make them in time.
Slept pretty much the rest of the day after the fair, then a large part of yesterday...no stamina atm. I have two fairs in December (so far) on the 11th and 16th, so should get more made for them.

Been trying to get back into a "being well" frame of mind, but at times my body just isn't having any of it!! Seem to run out of steam so easily atm. :( I have now finished the anti-biotics and codeine, so back to relying on paracetamol and my TENS machine for pain relief...hope they work!!

Now off to have lunch, then a rest in my rocking chair to do some knitting. I still can't sit at the computer/sewing machine for that long. Done some paid work this morning, so that's good. Had hoped
I'd do more this afternoon, not sure now, we'll see how things go.

Have a great day, despite the weather!! xx

Keiss - Sounds to me as though your body is speaking to you and you are listening! Take things gently and build up slowly is my advice ;)

Happy Birthday Mrs Moo, hope you are having a great day

Ninja rain sounds much worse than sideways rain to me Pippi

Expensed for driving at work today and paid for 6hours yay
Had a nice coffee bought on expenses by a colleague
Picked up exam timetable for invigilating next week
Got expenses back for a flight for work on monday
Took a free packet of biscuits to work
Resold a dongle on amazon and made the money back on it
    Posted an ebay plant sale

HMMMM not sure if I did anything else - except wearing a hat indoors to keep the warm in my head its freezing out there/in here. And I'm utterly bored with wet and windy weather - wherever we move to next there better not be any wind.
