Business is never so healthy as when, like a chicken, it must do a certain amount of scratching around for what it gets.

Pippi - it was Lotti379 (I think) that was talking about mint plants - I remember, because it was for a Mojito (no raised eyebrows at the back, I don't even like hard liquor!). It was bugging me so I looked it up, and she was talking about it on your previous diary - pg 151 post #3020 to be precise!

A problem with that is family. One needs to have at least some semblance of a schedule to keep everyone on board.
I did experiment with setting a time for meals on the understanding that if people didn't attend, their meal was plated and put in the fridge - leaving them to nuke their plate.
This was some years ago (:o like over 30 years ago) and it was a disaster from my angle. I ended up with festering plates in the fridge as they couldn't be bothered to nuke a mealand a loss of family time.
On the other hand, all kids are happily married with kids and those that still don't cook have married people who do!
So ???But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?0 -
I just had veggie sausage and mash (made with butter) and it was scrummy. My favouritest food ever mash.
You're lucky this is Pippi's diary not LT's - you can get lines over there for rhapsodizing about mash!NorthernLas wrote: »To those concentrating on calories ... could you experiment with eating what you want, when you are hungry and stopping when you are satisfied?

Yes, it's a lovely simple theory isn't it....I'm hazarding a guess that there are a lot of us who wouldn't be wanting to lose weight now if we hadn't followed that method though!
Well done to the hens hitting their targets Stripes - and half a day of paid stuff is excellent! :T Planning day at home seems like a good idea too!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
