All the best for the new job Pippi!
LOL at the toilet rolls, I had 22 in stock and I thought that was quite a lot!
I have a Vietnamese coriander plant too, bought it at a NT place about a year ago I think, so far I haven't managed to actually use it though! It sounded interesting but I don't think I've ever actually cooked any Vietnamese food and I'm not sure what else to use it in (I do do Indian, Thai etc, guess it might go in Thai food?)
Currently surrounded by flowering Xmas cactus plants here, a bit early bit very lovely and colourful.
Had a very early start this morning due to getting stuff done for a 10am deadline (almost there, just having a bit of a break, honest!) and after that I think I might have a little charity shop outing too!
Hope you are all having a good morning so far!0 -
I knew there was a reason why I was singing Underground, overground, wobbling free today!
Hope your first day is going brilliantly:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
Hi Pippi and everyone
Good luck for the first day of the new job.
Max is continuing to improve thank goodness. I can't believe how fortunate I have been.
On a wombling note my manky rotten front gate has now been replaced . A friend was getting rid of theirs in order to put double gates on so they could take the car in and their old one was destined for the skip but now has a nice new home. It's so satisfying doing things like this isn't it.
Off to make some cakes. The Brownies have gone down well all round so much so i hardly got any. Must remedy this asap!0 -
Hope cheery wombling is going well lovely girl! :j :j :j :j :j :j Thinking of you as two wombles sitting with your heads together in the living room, hatching a plan :T :T :T0

Thank you Lucielle - I did have a good day - one of the best parts of today and there were many, was also hearing how I can expense miles and how quickly your invoice is paid (within a week) - living rurally and with a family, I'm sure you'll agree thats a bonus!!!Congratulations!
Its brilliant already, that job, that you're working from there - I know you were in two minds about it, but still ...
Tricia - absolutely! The more the better
I was in two minds but we rubbed along splendidly and as I had to clean my revolting house and make soup and lunch - everything looks ace now!:T aside from the burnt toast that is:eek:savingforarainyday wrote: »Have a great day Pippi

A toddler is exactly what Rodders is like at the moment, we are having a battle with biting this week
Sounds like you had a great wombling 1st day! It makes life so much easier if you have someone to hand over to you and teach you the ropes.
GV - So pleased Max is improving so well, that is great news :T:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0
