    very sensible pippi!

I've managed to get an 8 foot high willow screen round half of my terrace :rotfl: :rotfl: best go out and get the other half up and then lop it down to the right height before all the neighbours start calling the police  :rotfl: :rotfl:

(am rather stiff and achey though, and not entirely sure I can be bothered, but can't leave it like this and it'll be going dark in an hour! :p)
  • Well done cheery.

    Rant Alert

Who comes to visit someone for a week with two strangers, arriving at midnight and doesn't look at a map before they leave home? Never mind write own your address?

Bah. Let's hope the rest of the visit when folks arrive goes smoothly and the not wake up the 17 folk in houses scattered over the countryside here with the same post code as us.

    I am not amused.

On positive side house clean, brownies in tin all beds ploofy.

Congrats on selling your house so quickly KK, we sold our last house to the second viewer too...over 16 years ago now. Good luck with selling yours LT.

Happy Birthday to DS Pippi ...wow 17, amazing how quickly they grow up!

Silly visitors..amazed they found you at all..and at midnight!!! Think they should be sent back round neighbours in the daylight offering cake (or humble pie?)!! :D

Pleased I got a fair bit of garden-tidying done yesterday. Well done on your monumental effort too Cheery :T:T

Had to clear out all the plants out of the greenhouse, the toms were still growing well, but infested with white fly:eek: Want to wash it down and bubble-wrap it before moving the more tender plants in pots in for the winter.

Potted up almost all the bulbs I got a month ago - garden still not really ready for them (or for anything else :o). Going to sink the pots of hardy bulbs in one of the (now empty) raised veg beds to prevent any damae from heavy frosts. I have some crown imperial bulbs which need to get into the ground...will have to weed the front garden a bit before taking the spade out to dig down 10"..or more if I can, they like it deep!! :D At least then they won't be stinking up the greenhouse...what a pong - like foxes for those who don't know!! :o

Done lots of sewing over the weekend too...making Christmas trees! Will link to a piccie once I have taken some.

Less than 8 weeks to go until Christmas, but less than 4 weeks to the fairs I am doing :eek: Need to get back to it I suppose.

Have a lovely week Pippi, hope the rest of your visitors are more considerate!! :) Oh and lots of birthday wishes to the gamer. x
