I'm very proud of my DD, she was reluctant to see him until he arrived when they sat and played a couple of board games very quietly They've now gone out to get dinner at a place in the village. Hopefully she's having a nice time, she seemed okay when they left. Big huggles for her later
Bless her KK, it must be really difficult for her as she can hardly know him really with the amount of time he puts aside for her. But you can't hide the truth from kids, if he is a plonker she will/ has already worked it out for herself.:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -

Hi Pippi, had some bad news see my thread. So glad that everyone else is having a good time . KK feel sorry for your DD. I was in that position myself. My mum never bad mouthed dad, but I soon decided that he wasn't the world's best dad. I did forgive him when i was older though, so I hope it works out for you.

Well, DD came back from her dinner happy, if a little quiet, and exOH dropped her back saying he'd text me some dates to see her again. Yawn, he always says that, just takes months/up to a year to do so, wonder how long it'll be this time! I'm glad she had a nice time with him and pleased with myself for being me (can't explain what I mean, but I'm glad I didn't let my facade slip at all).
Beloved OH was a lovely and calming influence on me, as he so often is.....and I felt a bit of a naughty gal going out almost immediately and leaving them to it, as he's struggling a bit with the change in season, but so thankful that he babysat for me.
Roll on Friday, once I hopefully get back to sleep in a bit!0 -
Glad all ok kk
Today hmmmmm, banks check if I can afford some wood for the tunnel price that up.
Bit gardening work, need wrap up!
Bit office work
Work on plant slides
Guru guy showing me around as he's off on holidays and I'm watching the tunnels etc
Picked up a car full of pamphas grass, which doeswell here for a nice big grassy hedge. Need think of a plan for that, whilst it's not my favourite plant, it grows well here)
Think about trip away
Finalise letter for job - put that in today or get it checked more?
Look into banks for charities - I'm treasurer of our new community garden society at local town
Write up bit garden work
Sort the start of two presentations, one on gardening up here (fill in for garden guy) one for willow (fill in for old boss)
Write a tiny plant up your pots for winter (up here) for local fishmonger who wanted some ideas, new contact in the making - might lead to work.
Go through wholesale catalogue for plants/trees and veggies (onions etc) and do an order.
Bank first!
