Hey up chaps
Kiess no bother let me know how many. Glad you had fun with the quilting group.
Chev nice to see you!
Maty that lady did good!
starnac - not sure - internet a problem - our speed is shocking and has dropped dramatically lately - bt lady no help at all - you live over 5km from the exchange she told me - we can't do anything - so we pay the same price as BT customers in london and have no choice of provider and have to 'put up with it' no solution, no recompense, no offer of anything except a 'thats what your line is, sorry'. Thinking of writing to our MP - can he do much? He's normally pretty good, but unless they upgrade the physical line, I don't think they could do anything. We've looked into satelitte boardband, its expensive and given that 9/10 days the dish for tv goes off due to the wind, I can't think paying for expensive satelitte would be any good or more reliable either. Dongo's (?) too expensive for him to work here regularily and mobile reception is also carp when the weather bad, but not as bad as the tv.
Hey ho
Today - meeting in a field at 10am
Weeding to do in a garden
Eggs to deliver
Paperwork (paid) to do for horti material at old/new work
Class went OK I think - covered 2/3 of the material I had prepared, but then again I always have an extra session prepared just in case I run out.

That cute puppy is making me want one, what a gorgeous little fellow
I could do with a cuddle from a cute puppy today, got to see the dreaded exOH *shudder* He texted the other day asking if he could see DD, I arranged it so that he's taking her out of my house and hopefully up the village for early dinner, but DD doesn't really want to see him. She keeps on saying she might be really busy this afternoon
I feel dreadful......and have told her that next time he gets in touch, I will check with her first before replying. I think she's trying to say without being blunt, that she's fed up with him dropping in and out of her life, or that she thinks he's a t****r as she must now have worked out for herself that she's not his top priority in life.
I am genuinely always pleasant about him to her, never badmouth him, so whatever she's feeling is all her
Also, exOH is going to meet my best beloved OH as I need to pick BBOH to come and babysit for me just before DD comes home. *sigh* I shall stop worrying and being miserable soon I hope.....
DD is so lovey to our new veggie plants in the garden, she went out to water them this morning and I saw her stroking leaves and chatting to themWe had made a joke the other day that they might be like tortoises in Roald Dahl's "Esio Trot" and so I wonder if she was asking them to grow in 'tortoise-language'
I'm enjoying the great declutter before attempting to sell my house yet again. Took a bootload of stuff to the tip yesterday and a big bag of DD's old clothes to a friend's little girl. I can now see the floor in my wardrobe/cupboard over the stairs and have started to tackle the cupboard of doom (i.e. under the stairs, it's like Narnia in there, or the Tardis at least, lol).
Trying not to spend money as I'm down to £158.24 left for the rest of the month for everything now. Could do with being on the beach, getting the cobwebs blown away rather than being in the office at the moment!0 -
KK at least you know she has come to that conclusion herself. so clear conscience (?) for you. maybe next time like you said check with her first when he texts and let her decide whether or not she's busy. ((((())))) for having to see him thoughGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000

I'm very proud of my DD, she was reluctant to see him until he arrived when they sat and played a couple of board games very quietly They've now gone out to get dinner at a place in the village. Hopefully she's having a nice time, she seemed okay when they left. Big huggles for her later0
