I wonder if I'm being unrealistic - but would be happy with a patchworky type arrangement - I miss my chickens
but I know they'd go crazy with me about the whole time

Which bit do you feel you might be being unrealistic about Stripes? To me, the plan looks eminently doable, but there is obviously something that makes you worry about the viability of it? I do hope I can have chickens someday (and pigs!) :TWeight loss: Start weight: 80kg; Current Weight: 77kg; Target weight: 55kg0 -
Pippi, you can do this I am sure. Bad month but at least you know that you have money coming in to you. Are your food cupboards and freezer full? If so then nothing too much to worry about you can eat, anything else can wait.
The plan looks doable. I like that you are mindmapping too. As EH says you need to work out what is bothering you about the plan. Is it that you are not feeling confident enough?
Love the idea of chooksitting in exchange for cat sitting. I am considering some weekend pet sitting and walking. I figure if I am taking Moo out anyway then why not get paid and him have fun with other dogs? Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
sounds like a busy but doable plan. Thinking of your costs which would increase would you be able to combine jobs to reduce petrol costs etc? will this give you enough time to go for walks, spend time with your family? I do think it's doable but maybe these are things you're worried about that you can't vocalise.0

Vl good luck
great positive thinking there.
What am I worried about.
Hmmmmm - I can make a real positive change at this junction in my life, I don't want to muck it up. I'm relatively well qualified (ish) so I could get a 'proper job' maybe not exactly in my field but almost certainly in something here.
BUT I'm Not wanting a f/t job I'm perfectly able, and I have debts.
Living in cloud cuckoo land maybe.....?
not thinking things through - ok for me to not *wants* money but could we have more fun if I got a 'proper job' but then again we've so little proper time left together. I want make most of it
When I wrote down what we needed it's not too bad. A part time job would cover it.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

I think you have a lovely attitude and are not living in cloud cuckoo land at all. You have the will and the wherewithall to make this work and you will! Nerves are normal in any challenge, at least that is what I am telling myself!!! Thanks for the good luck, will try to be confidant and not nervous at them!!Weight loss: Start weight: 80kg; Current Weight: 77kg; Target weight: 55kg0

VL - They can't see your tummy turning circles!!! Smile and stand tall (in a Val Doonican sort of way
)
[And really getting back to basics, imagine them sitting on the loo or having breakfast in their pjs etc.]
You and they are answering 3 questions
1. Can you do the job (do you have the skills/quals)
2. Do you want to do the job (for the pay they are offering/conditions etc.)
3. Will you fit in (blend/stand out as appropriate)
Beforehand you can practice tailoring your answers so you keep telling them what they need to hear to answer them. Your questions to them should help you answer them for yourself.
Ta da! Very best wishes and go for it!0
