Hope that helps. Maybe so far as the shopping goes work out which things are of the greatest value - ie cheapest - for you to get on mainland rather than at home? ie there is little point in weighing the car down with "stuff" to save just a little, as the reduced mpg on the car will counterbalance the savings.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

In the spirit of 'thinking wildly about mad suggestions that might never happen' Pippi - is there anyone with a more fuel efficient car that might let you borrow it for a couple of weeks in exchange for yours with all its space?!0

Stripes if you need a room for the night in my area more than welcome and if you insist I can take you to a wholesaler as well.

and thank you about the OK on windowsill bit
well remembered
my tomatoes are taking over the house!
My cucumber about to be able to cut the first fruit yippee, not bad for a windowsill - while out there - everything is shredded to bits.
Probably not twin!! Ancestor, maybe! We used to live in a house with 4 stories and 6 south facing windows at varying heights. Thick walls so deep windowsills.
I was from really 'down sarf' so lost a lot of plants in the first few years. You would consider me 'down sarf' even now but we are at least two weeks behind in the spring and 2 weeks shorter in the summer.. A steep learning curve.
Keep going! I really wish I had done more in my younger and more fit days and ignored 'good advice'. :cool:But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?0 -
