Exciting! I've had them for two years running and they've never gone as dark as they're supposed to.

Fantastic work on the polytunnel Pippi, most impressive...and huge!! Well done!!! :T You will have sooo much fun once you have your cover on :j

Been an unusual day for me, but I enjoyed it immensely!! :D

I had a wander round town for nearly 5 hours while the car was in the garage. Things were donated to and bought from a CS. Friends were met and nattered to, some Xmas pressies were bought (), and I was offered a knitting job!!

Local craft fair details were procured and I managed to find vastly reduced upholstery materials that go very well with my newly decorated conservatory. There's enough to cover 6 chairs and make a few runners etc.

What a busy and successful day, then tonight I logged on and found I have been offered some invigilating, so I am back into working at college again, glad to see they haven't forgotten me ;).

Now I have to take stock and see how I am going to use my time. I can see myself working myself into the ground if I take on too much.

Oh well, I certainly can't say my life is boring!! :rotfl:

Have a great evening everyone...hope your OH recovers soon Pippi

  • Morning all

KK yay to any number of tomatoes grwon at home - think of the gigantic carbon saving they'll give you and how yummy they will be and the perfect amount, one for you, one for DD and one for OH :)

KC - I'm having today OFF - I may pootle - but I'm dog tired - the physical work is one angle of it - but my kindly lovely helper is an angel but I'm so glad we've the house back to just us. Having people the whole time (we had one day between italian student here for a week and by bro arriving for a week) is exhausting in itself and trying to juggle a bit paid work inbetween and budget! We were supposed to have folk for dinner yesterday night, thankfully with OH a bit sick (cold, he's better now) I could cry off - I'd not normally but I'd promised to make proper nice food - which also takes time, and sushi which is lovely but a timeconsuming delight and of course having been 'out' there all week the house is a tip!

*love the new sig by the way*

I'm not complaining, merely thinking phew I'm cream crackered, and it takes a fair doodly bit of work and activity to make me think I need a wee sit doon!

Not much plan for today - try and catch up on here and elsewhere in 'tinternet land'

*Morning* lobs cuppas about - and a few brownies I baked last night before bro went to say thank you for helping, he set off with a box of warm brownies for the trip. (I do wonder if any got out of the port?)

I'm glad you're having a rest, Pippi .... that stuff really takes it out of you, as I know to my cost! And I did much less than you do.

Thanks for the cuppa - virtual one consumed, off to get a RL one now, back soon :):):)

    Enjoy RL KC

The weather here is just revolting - 40mph wind and battering rain - I'm so delighted! Means I can be in here guilt free - I may even go back to bed!

Hope its nicer where you are.

Had a brilliant post card today from a lovely chum (thank you) - with Rowena Cade on it what an amazing woman!
