:T sounds very promising. Start visualising and it shall be yours. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -

Hello just back in from dinner with a couple chums and lovely it was too!Oh now that sounds exciting indeed. Never thought of a holiday job. Hmmm how does Mid Wales sound Pippi?
I'd like to tell both of you that I'm very available for holiday adventures which involve sorting out folks gardens, bit like the alan T show, but only me turns up not a teamLemon_Tree wrote: »Pippi, if i have my way and the fortunes look at me i may have a holiday job for you
just seen a house with a lovely huge garden (well huge by my standards) which is very overgrown, and needs some workshops/sheds knocking down, i'm sure if you happened to be popping by to visit we'd have spare room for you to sleep in whilst you helped my tame our wilderness. Oh and i think there's even a raised bed which used to be a veggie plot from what i can see if that helps swing things.
I am available and if you get the house I'll gladly help via adventure or virtual

Yay thank you.
My own chilli Jam, abit like cheri said, a bit lobbed in, but I have to say, without bumming myself up too much, its very very very delicious and set properly too :j and very pretty it is too - I've got 3 and a half pots left
I had five, but took one to dinner - which made 4 and then of course I had to check the third one, with bread and cheese to check it was ok
yum yum yum yum, had extras! I think this might not last the year!

I really, really need to be more adventurous with food; my first thought when I saw 'chilli jam' was eugh! But then thinking about it, I eat mint sauce, lime pickle, mango chutney etc. so what's different.

I googled "chili salsa" instead of "chili jam" and got lots of purely savoury ones. The thing I'm after, to stop me bingeing and to challenge my addiction to pesto, as well as to give me heat for the arthritis, is strong taste - I'd just rather it was savoury than sweet. So I'm on it2023: the year I get to buy a car0

KC I'm also very happy to venture down to your land at a future date if you ever need a garden blitz - not that you're not capable, more that its an excuse to venture sooth-wardsgilligansyle wrote: »I really, really need to be more adventurous with food; my first thought when I saw 'chilli jam' was eugh! Yay go you, I love chillis and also thought, yuk, (I don't like jam or sweet stuff) but actually a dod of this by some cheese etc is very lovely like you say not unlike other savory/sweet accompaniments!

KC what about salsas in general - they can be nice on pasta with stuff and you make or buy them fresh - alot of the 'dips' for snacks aren't too bad and often the fridge section - we often have salsa stirred through pasta, I find it more refreshing.
The jam, isn't a pure jam its vinegar/sugar combo - I didn't put very much sugar in and used honey in it too *(not liking sweet stuff) and used a vegetarian setting agent - as I had some, so its almost a 'jelly' I don't think its OK to keep for very long, but I've done a few to open them over the next wee while to see how long they last.mmmmm chilli jam. YUM YUM YUM - any colour would be yummy
Morning all up for a bit did a blitz round before putting on the computer d/w on again and w/m on for a hokeycokey.
Cuppa now, bit of a catch up and more dighting (wiping) with a cloot
Hope you're all good
Had to get out pronto as there was a maraunding chicken in the garden where chickens are NOT allowed - thankfully they come running for food when they see me, shame she ran straight into the fence she shouldn't have been the other side of (she's OK) I'm sure it won't stop her in futre :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
