Lovely! Put a fast-paced CD on when you're charging about clearing and tidying, it will help! Right, I'm off to do important things :D like tidying my own house :p

Have a good indoor day Pippi! :T :T

And as for the young'uns - they'll be fine at home alone for a day... In fact - why don't you suggest they get Saturday jobs themselves! :D:p I started working in a paper shop at 13 (probably couldn't do it now!), and I loved having my own money, and chatting to everyone (although being surrounded by sweets - eek!). Then you wouldn't have to worry about them being in the house :p

Bleurgh to vile weather - typically, on the day we're meant to be leaving, it's stopped raining and the sun's come out. I've already packed 5 pairs of shoes  and none of them cater for glorious sunshine! :rotfl: :rotfl: Sounds like I won't have to worry about that too much up your end :p

Morning all, Pippi - yes you are a worrier :) - I am with Daffy on the Saturday job. I bet they would love to do something like that. Is there anything at the place you WILL be working at?
Raining here, Moo all curled up looking at me as if to say -"if you think I am going out in that THINK AGAIN WOMAN"

Listneing to Radio 3, Mr C reading about motorbikes, me tapping on laptop - all very sedate. Meanwhile the house is a tip but have no energy.

    I've radio scotland on here

starnac theres no such thing as a bad mother, creativity thats what its all about, my dd can parrot fashion more movies than I will ever admit too and I'm a fidget therefore I need lists to stop myself selfcombusting :)

    Vl he's snoring!

Cheery and cheri - might be an idea, they both need to save, nowt where I *might* be working - and cheri yup I'd turn it off!

Not acheived much this am so far

Chopped up and frozen onion stalks - I always do this, I never dry them, they don't dry here tbh not easily, I haven't died so far, use them like chopped spring onions or leeks
Made 'wierdo' tomato pasta sauce for freezing
chopped up and frozen (on a tray) 3 reduced lemons
Cleared the fridge, peeled a bit of slightly 'mouldy' cheese with the potato peeler, perfectly OK now - I am that revolting - cut it into 3 chunks and froze two of them - on the postive I've not found anything dead in there or too past it - good result
Made a jar of coconut yoghurt and put in back in there to mellow :) yum
Froze another chunk of cheese, smoked
Chopped up 3 cucumbers thinly - need to find a recipe for cucumber pickle, sweet kind I know I like that
Been soaking last years (dried) cayenne chillis and now they're pliable enough to make a bit of chilli jam with, again need find a recipe for that - which I'm looking forward too
