Ok logged off the tarot, have enough for a payment. Only about £10 but its better than nothing. I'm sitting with my feet up catching up on people's diaries and will do some clicks. Had scrummy dinner (not exactly money-saving but at least home made); fondue (the oil type rather than cheese) with chicken, beef and smoked sausage with lots of leftover sauces and salad.
Since its so chilly I've left my heating on constant but kept it down low, its kept the house nice and cosy.... but will it cost me more I wonder? -3C here this morning but upto 6C when we were out later.
Off to do my clicks, hope everyone is well.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0 -
Morning All, felt quite chuffed with myself this morning, ham and cheese salad made for lunch (reduced ham), have choc cookies to go with mid-morning cuppa (reduced in the coop yesterday to 39p for 5), and knowing that Egg/BC is at zero.
Trying to drink a bit more water, was in awful pain on sunday morning. I barely drank anything on sat except a large glass of fizzy stuff about an hour before bed. The pain was unbelieveable, I'm wondering if its the same thing as I had at new year. Two very large glasses of water and 2 paracetamol later I was feeling more human. I brought a nice bottle of lemon squash into work (reduced) and make up a glass and it disappears off my desk after my first meeting!
Just waiting on my tarot payslip through email, it'll only be about £11. But better than nothing. I've started Swagbucks as well but finding it difficult to build up points, does anyone else do this and got any tips?CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. i've started swagbucks but after finding out you need about 800 odd for anything i think i've given up - just no staying power to be honest.
well done for all your bargains and being organised for work. I'm usually good at drinking water but i have to say if i don't it doesn't half make me feel rough. so i'm making an extra effort at the moment.
Never heard of fondue with oil, have to admit it did think ergh but then i don't like the taste of butter/marg/oils so try and have everything without it.0 -
I'm the same as you LT, I don't like overloading things with oil etc but think of it as a big cooking pot and the oil drains off. Its meant to be quite healthy.
As for the water thing, I used to be great at it before OH moved in it was all I would drink but now I seem to forget or have fizzy stuff which definitely isn't good for me.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Taken OH to work, am chilling watching Superscrimpers (recorded it). Was annoyed with OH, had nice steak (on offer in Aldi) for dinner tonight and he decided to have it for a snack!!!!! So it was sausage rolls and beans for tea.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. I dont know Chev, probably because when he's in a normal mood he's actually a nice guy. SS is winding him up severely at the moment. SS 'borrowed' OH's good pen (which was a special birthday present from my parents and my gran and papa, thats my papa who's no longer with us), chewed the end on it then left it on his bedroom floor. I nearly stood on it when I went to put clean clothes on his bed.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Ok, money stuff. Finally got my tarot payslip £13.80 for last week which I'll get wed/thursday. £2.40 into my bank this morning, transferred that to 'Tax' and have updated the totals.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera.
