I tried to use the Pantene Supersavvy £1 coupon in Tesco and it wouldn't work - SA said it came up that I had "not reached the min spend" - at £3.97 I think I had (could have got it cheaper at Asda!)
was buying 500ml Smooth & Sleek conditioner which I thnk matches the coupon
Anyone else had this/know why?You never know how far-reaching something good, that you may do or say today, may affect the lives of others tomorrow0 -

I am not too sure but normally they just take off the amount on the coupon. Dont forget to price check your receipt to get money off your next shop if Asda is cheaper.0 -
Coupon and chat mixed threadJust in case too many newbies get all depressed at how much free shopping they missed out on, unfortunately not all Tesco stores would follow the as many mocs as you like policy - mine only took 5 per shop for items not bought most of the time. Hence I shopped 5-6 days a week, lol.
I've been using mocs since forever too and also made full use of anything moc/sample related when I had DD. Since I found this site in 2007 though I have made lots of savings and built my stash. Still not used all my Radox shower gels from way back when. Oh for the days of combining So Beautiful, H&B sheets and Quit Packs.. *sighs*... I still have plenty of lovely perfumes left from those days too. :rotfl:So your answer don’t be scared of failure
For the only failure is never to try

Moneytight in chargeI found this site just before I had my son, but I didn't really utilise it much. Found it overwhelming to start with. As I used to get emails about grabbit and freebies, I found more and more stuff I was interested in.
I used to spend a lot of time on the Boots thread and got a hell of a stash from Boots glitches! I still find them now on my own, just not as many as then and I don't go so mad for them now. BUT we have lived on shower gels and shampoos got free, glitched or for silly pennies for nearly a year.
I nearly cried when I noticed my stash was getting low on shower gels and shampoos... :rotfl:
unfortunately I was very late joining the party about Tesco coupons. And only found out about H&B magazines when they stopped doing them!
Always late to the party me...lol. Never mind, I am still saving money thanks to this wonderful thread, and every little helps. Believe me, I work part time and get help with the nursery fees, otherwise couldn't afford to work and send DS, but that doesn't mean the food bills are any lower!
So I can imagine what it is like living on benefits in these day and age!0 -
Moneytight in chargeHi all - Birdseye have just posted this on facebook;
'The gremlins have got into our voucher system! We're working on a fix for it and will get it up and running as soon as we possibly can. thanks for your patience.'
I am still trying to catch up - new thread too! Bit miffed as was still too sick to go shopping on Tuesday (ended up on chemo unit for 4 hours!). All that planning to no avail. Fingers crossed I will be able to go tomorrow as its alredy meant a few vouchers have expired.
I'm sure a post asked if anyone would share their excel spreadsheet. I am sorry but as it was on the old thread I could not post a reply (dont yet know how/if you cross thread quote). If you still want one, more than happy to share my efforts!
More than happy to accept your efforts - yes please!!!

Moneytight in chargewent into asda today, picked up a few items, so when i got to the checkout and the girl (who i scoped out and totally thought she would be ok!) read every bit of the coupon, checking to see if they were ok, then i handed in a 50p APG coupon i printed off, ive never used them before but she said that i couldnt use it this time because i didnt have the reciept to go with it to prove that the numbers match??? is this true or was she shooting me some bull? i told her that it was ok i keep all my reciepts and ill be back with the reciept
i also went to tesco, and checked up all my coupons on mysupermarket before i went, well when i got to the store they had new prices and i couldnt use any of my coupons (no good deals)
so im guessing mysupermarket didnt update or tesco were early
either way i didnt have a very good day apart from finding the 25p tissues at tesco lol0 -
Good evening all...:)
