does anyone keep a record of how much they have 'saved'/benefitted through use of coupons? I was thinking I might save the difference in a jar towards treats or OPing the mortgage

thanks to everyone for the warm welcome and all the hard work in finding, organising and sharing the coupons :T
What I do is, the amount of the voucher I've saved I transfer into my online savings account and when I get to a nice amount I am going to op on my mortgage. At the moment I have nearly £190 and that's only since February :D

I don't but keep telling myself I will.... just very, very disorganised at the moment.

I can't put the actual savings of what I save into another account, wish I could, but I use the coupons to save me money, so there is no excess money. Does that make sense?

for example, I don't have an £80 food budget. It was only £50 or less, but I worked out, if I bought this, this, etc, I could bring my bill down to £50 or less.

Been moc'ing for 3 years, my total saved is 5.7k so far, still got to add up all my DTD from meal deals etc so must be around the 6k mark now:eek:.

Doh - I hadn't realised this Aesop so thanks for that - I will be able to get some washing-up liquid now - I was wondering how everyone had these coupons when all I could get was dishwasher stuff coupon :o:o

mine are in envelopes(DL) one per shop and one for non store specific coupons
what i do then is write on the front what coupons are, how many and end date.
so all i have to do then is look at the front on the envelope for which ever store i'm in.
cross them out when used, occasionally changing envelope when no room left to write on them , also keep them together with and rubber band.

I have a separate envelope for each store too - its a good way to use the addressed envelopes that come with credit card statements. :)

I have a folder, but keep them in ziploc bags when i am out shopping, i make sure i check the prices on that certain supermarket website that checks them all :D and i make sure i sort the coupons by store... Mr T/Mr S/Asda etc, so i'm not getting in a panic at the checkout

i keep one ziploc bag for ones i know i'm going to use, and the rest in a spare bag, just in case i spot something reduced / clearance aisle that can also be used with a moc, that way i know i have them :D
