conditional spends are as you say but not off certain items you can buy what you like
ordinary money off coupons say 50p off butter at asda can only be used in asda as with all such like store specific coupons and you will need to buy the correct product too.
its ONLY the conditional spend ones from other stores that can be used in tesco.tesco no longer take the farmfood ones i'm afraid.

no specific thread but reading through this one will help you get an idea and grabbit thread worth keeping an eye on as you've discovered and if you can't find something out just ask someone will reply.

here is the link to mysupermarket mentioned by jb
    http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/ covers asda,tesco,sainsburys and ocado

it doesn't cover morrisons,co-op,wilkensons,home bargains or somerfield though all of whom should take coupons too
I think I have a new favourite thread... I love how friendly you all are

For my next question (i'll run out of them eventually :D) does a conditional spend coupon refer to a "Save £X when you spend £Y on product Z' type of coupon? I can only ever remember seeing these from Mr T with my clubcard vouchers. can i use the vouchers from the asda mag for example to but the qualifying product (assuming it isn't own brand)? where bullshot reers to farmfood vouchers, are these the £X off of a £50 shop voucher that i've been giving away as I never spend enough at farmfoods to qualify?? If so i'm starting to see a whole new appeal to Mr Ts

Shame about the printer issue. will have to see if I can network OH's PC to my printer to print mum's coupons via that, she loves a bargain and is on a tight budget so it all helps.

For those getting shopping trolleys full of stuff for pennies, would someone be so kind as to talk me through an example so i can check i've got my head around extreme couponing please.

shame there's no voucher for the one thing I think I'll be needing urgently - printer paper and ink! poor little epson has been rather overworked tonight! :D

even more moneysaving is that my route tomorrow takes me past the big tesco which currently has the best prices for the coupons i want to use.

Iceland take coupons too, as long as you have bought the product, I use the mccains ones there and The dreaded Word Velvet. Occasionally Plenty if they have a special offer on them.

I don't get my shopping down to pennies, but yesterday my bill was £80.xx and was reduced to £50.xx.

£5.56 was taken off for multibuys - cravendale milk 2 for £3.oo
    selected pork 3 for £10
    ice cream 2 for £3

    etc,

then I had a conditional spend from Ts - £7 off £50 spend.

    I had:

    £1 off Fairy Liquid 650ml
70p off any 3 oriental sauces (from T mag)
    £1 off lenor fab conditioner
£1 off Tesco gel from sun newspaper last week
    £1 off any Dove product
    £2 off ambi 3 vol r/f
30p off Cheerios (had to be a certain size)
    50p off cravendale
    50p off sharwoods sauce
30p off Heinz tomato sauce any size bottle

then I had £8.50 in T vouchers (clubcard vouchers)

    so all reduced to £50.xx

I couldn't find any glitches or 1p stuff.

    Hope this kind of helps.

The best thing to do is only use your coupon if the item is on sale or you can get the difference back on it.

Worth getting a Staples Reward card if you're buying ink/paper there as well. Every few months they send you a voucher for 10% of what you've spent on those sorts of things!
2014 wins: £15 iTunes voucher, £15 Amazon voucher, Sharwood's wok & sauces, Food Lover's Guide to the World book, £20 Tesco giftcard, Goodfellas x 3, Garnier skin cream, £25 Frankie & Benny's, Chiquito meal, £20 Frankie & Benny's, Panebello pizza, Harlan Coben book

I used my first 2 x £3 'Dettol' vouchers in Superdrug.

They both had the same barcode but scanned after a few swipes.

The expiry date was buried in mountains of text so I pointed it out. (like others had mentioned, I was prepared)
